- 0:49 | your pins now you might be wondering
- 0:51 | what is tagging on Pinterest in the
- 0:53 | first place so similar to when you tag
- 0:55 | someone in one of your captions you are
- 0:57 | tagging that person to your content but
- 1:00 | on Pinterest you can also tag products
- 1:02 | to a specific pin so you’re attaching an
- 1:04 | affiliate product in to a regular pen
- 1:06 | image I know that sounds a bit confusing
- 1:09 | so here’s a quick example let’s say
- 1:11 | summer is around the corner and you
- 1:13 | created this amazing summer guide on
- 1:15 | your blog it includes all your product
- 1:17 | must-haves for the season and to promote
- 1:20 | that piece of content you’ve also
- 1:21 | created this gorgeous gift guide pin so
- 1:24 | with Pinterest tagging you can create
- 1:26 | individual affiliate product pins that
- 1:29 | you attach to this original pin let me
- 1:32 | show you how this looks like now you can
- 1:34 | see that all the products you mentioned
- 1:37 | in that pin also show up individually as
- 1:40 | clickable product pins that include the
- 1:42 | different affiliate links now why is
- 1:44 | this so cool well if you’re optimizing
- 1:47 | your content to make money with
- 1:49 | affiliate marketing on Pinterest you
- 1:51 | want to make it as easy as possible for
- 1:53 | people to find the right product click
- 1:55 | over and then buy that product so
- 1:58 | instead of people having to go to your

- 2:30 | it works for me um so I’m like where can
- 2:32 | I order that so imagine how powerful it
- 2:35 | would be if just next to that pin I
- 2:37 | could order the entire outfit in just a
- 2:40 | few clicks and so often I don’t see
- 2:42 | people do that you can see how this
- 2:44 | tagging strategy could literally

- 3:08 | links and two ways how to tag those
- 3:10 | products on Pinterest and before I head

- 3:47 | can browse hundreds of companies you can
- 3:50 | collaborate with inside impact they
- 3:52 | literally have brands in every Niche so
- 3:54 | I’m sure you can find a business you
- 3:56 | like and if you go to the featured tab
- 3:58 | you can see brands that you can work
- 4:01 | with instantly which means that you
- 4:03 | don’t even have to apply to them first
- 4:05 | which is really cool you can start
- 4:06 | creating affiliate links and earn money
- 4:08 | right away now for some Brands you need
- 4:11 | to apply and give a bit of an
- 4:12 | explanation why you and your content
- 4:14 | would be a good fit with them but it’s
- 4:16 | literally so easy to apply and get
- 4:18 | accepted then below my Brands you get an
- 4:21 | overview of the brands you work with
- 4:22 | that makes it so easy to stay organized
- 4:25 | and if you click on one brand you’ll see
- 4:28 | all the info you need so you can message
- 4:30 | and email them negotiate your own
- 4:33 | contracts and payments which is super
- 4:35 | cool here on the right you can see
- 4:37 | exactly what you’ll earn per sale now my
- 4:39 | favorite feature though and then I’ll
- 4:41 | show you exactly where you can get your
- 4:42 | links inside impact is that you can
- 4:45 | track where your sales came from and get
- 4:48 | paid super easily so you get a ton of
- 4:50 | different reports so for example I know
- 4:52 | exactly which sales came from promoting
- 4:54 | my stuff on Pinterest versus YouTube or
- 4:57 | my blog and impact also shows me how
- 4:59 | many clicks I got how many sales
- 5:01 | resulted from that click and how much I
- 5:04 | earned and once my sales are approved
- 5:06 | they are directly deposited to my bank
- 5:08 | account which is amazing so I don’t have
- 5:11 | to transfer my funds from PayPal to my
- 5:13 | account and pay additional fees it’s
- 5:16 | just the best so there’s a link to

- 5:27 | right now let me walk you through two
- 5:29 | ways how to tag affiliate product on
- 5:31 | Pinterest so first you’ll need to have a
- 5:33 | product you want to promote so you can
- 5:35 | grab their affiliate link here’s what I
- 5:37 | do first I go to the my Brands Tab and
- 5:40 | choose the product I want to promote so
- 5:42 | for this example let’s have a look at
- 5:44 | Coco and Eve this is a cosmetic brands
- 5:47 | and hair brand which I think can work
- 5:49 | great on Pinterest so what I do is I go
- 5:52 | to the asset section and you can see
- 5:54 | that they’ve already added helpful
- 5:56 | assets so images and Banners and stuff
- 5:58 | that I can use to promote my pins or
- 6:01 | create that product pin now for tagging
- 6:03 | products I like to use product images
- 6:05 | that stand alone because I don’t want to
- 6:08 | use the images to create a pen what I
- 6:11 | want to do is I want to use the product
- 6:13 | to add to my gift guide so the first
- 6:15 | image here is perfect and I’m going to
- 6:18 | grab that link here so click get
- 6:20 | tracking link and copy that so that’s
- 6:22 | your affiliate link to use on Pinterest
- 6:24 | now I’m going to switch over to
- 6:26 | Pinterest and show you two different
- 6:28 | ways to use that link to tag affiliate
- 6:31 | products on Pinterest so first let me
- 6:33 | show you how to upload a pen and tag the
- 6:36 | affiliate product using the URL link you
- 6:39 | just grabbed so go to create and then
- 6:41 | pin to upload a brand new PIN I created
- 6:44 | this gift guide pin as an example and
- 6:46 | you can see that one of the products I
- 6:48 | promote on it is this antioxidant face
- 6:50 | tanning micro Mist wow that’s a mouthful
- 6:54 | well it’s from Cochran Eve um the brand
- 6:57 | which just talked about on impact so
- 7:00 | once the pin is uploaded press this tag
- 7:02 | icon here on the left in the middle and
- 7:05 | then press the plus sign icon here and
- 7:07 | you’ll need to be on your desktop for
- 7:10 | this to work then next go to the URL and
- 7:13 | now here paste in your affiliate link
- 7:15 | you got from Impact and not all
- 7:17 | affiliate links from all networks and
- 7:19 | marketplaces work here but you can see
- 7:21 | impact does so what Pinterest does is it
- 7:25 | finds all those related images you saw
- 7:27 | before which is really cool because you
- 7:29 | don’t have to upload a second product
- 7:31 | image a pin here on top of your regular
- 7:34 | pin you can just find the images here so
- 7:37 | it’s the first one here and it will
- 7:39 | create your product pin for you this
- 7:41 | saves you so much time now you could go
- 7:43 | ahead and tag another product so for
- 7:46 | example grab another affiliate link for
- 7:48 | a different product here let’s say this
- 7:50 | hair mask enter that link to find more
- 7:53 | product images and then press save
- 7:55 | products and you can see that next to
- 7:57 | your PIN image you now have these two
- 8:00 | affiliate product pins with different
- 8:02 | affiliate links that people can click on
- 8:04 | now press done and choose a title and a
- 8:07 | description for the pin make sure to add
- 8:10 | an affiliate disclosure in there
- 8:11 | somewhere as well and add your link to
- 8:14 | your blog post and then choose a board
- 8:16 | and save so this pin is live on
- 8:19 | Pinterest now and see here next to the
- 8:21 | pin you see the two product pins that
- 8:24 | include your affiliate links that show
- 8:26 | up just next to that pin so now when
- 8:28 | someone finds their pin they are blown
- 8:31 | away and want to grab that mist they
- 8:33 | just have to click here they don’t have
- 8:35 | to search they can click the tagged
- 8:37 | product right away and boom they’re on
- 8:39 | the exact page where they can buy that
- 8:41 | product it’s super simple and amazing so
- 8:44 | let me show you the second way of how to
- 8:47 | tag products on Pinterest which is
- 8:49 | creating a product pin itself and this
- 8:51 | only works if you’ve already created a
- 8:54 | tagged product I believe using the first
- 8:56 | method otherwise I believe this won’t
- 8:59 | work because you won’t have this tacked
- 9:01 | product board yet so let’s say when you
- 9:04 | entered your link when you wanted to
- 9:06 | take a product like we did before but it
- 9:09 | didn’t show up any images from that
- 9:11 | brand I’ve seen that happen a lot before
- 9:14 | then another way to tag products on
- 9:16 | Pinterest is to create a product pin
- 9:18 | itself so first if you’ve already tagged
- 9:21 | a product on Pinterest you should now
- 9:23 | see a hidden board that includes all
- 9:25 | your product pins so for me when I go to
- 9:28 | my profile and I scroll all the way down
- 9:31 | you can see this new section that says
- 9:33 | protected boards products detect this
- 9:36 | board includes all the product pins you
- 9:39 | ever created so if option one didn’t
- 9:41 | work you can also create product pins
- 9:43 | that you can use to tag right here
- 9:46 | inside this board so again I’m going to
- 9:48 | go to impact but this time instead of
- 9:50 | grabbing the link right away I’m first
- 9:53 | going to download the image so back on
- 9:55 | Pinterest I’m going to create a pin
- 9:57 | again but now I’m not uploading the pen
- 9:59 | guide image but the product image first
- 10:03 | so upload that here then I’m going to
- 10:05 | grab the affiliate link add that now
- 10:08 | here and give it a quick title and now
- 10:11 | this is important now you save it to
- 10:13 | your products you tagged board so search
- 10:15 | for that board and upload it you can see
- 10:18 | your product can show up here now so if
- 10:21 | we want to tag that gift guide with this
- 10:23 | product pin we find that pin again and
- 10:25 | click the tag icon and now we’re not
- 10:28 | switching to the URL section but we’re
- 10:31 | searching for that product pin first
- 10:33 | that we created that is in that board
- 10:35 | now and we select it this is a bit more
- 10:37 | work I get it as you need to create two
- 10:40 | pins the one to promote your guide or
- 10:43 | whatever and the second the product pin
- 10:45 | itself remember in option one Pinterest
- 10:48 | created the product pin for you using
- 10:50 | the affiliate link and image provided by
- 10:52 | the brand but sometimes that doesn’t
- 10:54 | work so that’s what you can do instead
- 10:56 | if that isn’t working and you can’t see
- 10:59 | any image edges that Pinterest sources
