I Tried Tikok Shop Affiliate for 30 Days & Made 24,000 : Here’s Everything I Did Step By Step

1:05 | lot of money I actually made the brands

1:09 | $270,000 in 30 days so even though I

1:14 | amount I just want to paint that bigger

1:20 | 270,000 from me using my ugc skills

1:25 | creating these amazing videos that

1:28 | resulted in commission sales of

1:30 | $244,000 in 30 days now that we know

1:37 | recommending other sellers products and

1:40 | getting a commission for it now let’s

1:43 | talk about how I was able to set it up

1:46 | now the steps that I took to set up my

1:48 | Tik Tok shop are because I already had

1:50 | more than 5,000 subscribers that is a

1:52 | qualification to set up Tik Tok shop is

1:55 | they do want you to have 5,000

1:56 | subscribers now I know you’re saying

1:58 | Crystal but what if I don’t have 5,000

2:00 | don’t worry about it next Monday I’m

2:03 | going to be walking you through how to

2:04 | set up your Tik Tok shop if you don’t

2:06 | have 5,000 followers because I set up

2:09 | both I set up one Tik Tok shop under my

2:12 | current profile with my 20K followers

2:15 | and then I set up a brand new Tik Tok

2:17 | shop with zero followers but for those

2:20 | steps and that data and information

2:23 | we’ll cover that next Monday on money

2:25 | making Monday today we’re just going to

2:28 | cover what actually happened the first

2:30 | 30 days on Tik Tok shop being an

2:33 | affiliate with my primary count that had

2:37 | 20 7,000 followers at the time to set up

2:41 | your Tik Tok shop if you have the 5,000

2:44 | you’re going to first click on the

2:46 | little hamburger in the top right hand

2:47 | corner after you click on that hamburger

2:50 | you’re going to click on Creator tools

2:52 | from there you’ll have two options do

2:54 | you want to set up a Tik Tock shop for a

2:56 | Creator or Tik Tok shop for a seller

2:59 | again you do not need to set up the

3:01 | seller account unless you plan on

3:03 | selling products on Tik Tok shop or I

3:06 | knew that I wasn’t going to sell any

3:07 | type of products I just wanted to make

3:09 | money so I set up the Tik Tok shop for

3:12 | the affiliate and that’s the link that I

3:13 | clicked once you click that link it’s

3:16 | going to have you fill out the

3:17 | application with all of your information

3:19 | and then within 15 minutes minimum and

3:22 | 48 Hours maximum you’ll get a reply

3:25 | saying that you have been approved if

3:27 | you do not get approved they will let

3:29 | you know why and usually it’s because

3:31 | some misinformation is not given you

3:33 | weren’t able to identify who you are and

3:36 | so forth once I was given access in the

3:38 | first thing I did was I went to the Tik

3:41 | Tock shop marketplace now that I started

3:43 | to go through the marketplace though I

3:45 | had to figure out which products I

3:47 | wanted but also if I wanted to Niche

3:49 | down did I only want to promote products

3:52 | from the home industry did I only want

3:54 | to promote Fitness Products or did I

3:57 | just want to be a jack of all trades and

3:59 | just promote any and everything with no

4:01 | type of Niche possible just here’s the

4:03 | product give me my money and as you

4:06 | guessed it I chose the ladder I decided

4:08 | to promote any and everything I knew

4:10 | that it would come off a bit spammy to

4:12 | my current 27k followers but my thing

4:16 | was for me to be able to give you an

4:18 | honest video on if this could actually

4:20 | work I wanted to just go all in and so

4:23 | that’s what I did I promoted any and

4:25 | everything on Tik Tok shop for

4:28 | commission sales so once I determined

4:30 | that was going to be the game plan I

4:32 | went throughout my house and I tried to

4:34 | find products that I could actually sell

4:36 | that I already had because a lot of the

4:38 | Tik Tok shop products are also on Amazon

4:41 | and I got tons of Amazon products

4:43 | because I am an Amazon affiliate because

4:45 | I did not want to buy a product even

4:47 | though they gave me a coupon once you

4:49 | are approved you’ll get a nice coupon

4:51 | that’ll pretty much make your next your

4:53 | first purchase relatively low or free I

4:56 | wanted to start with stuff that I

4:57 | already had in the house because I knew

4:59 | that shi shipping and all that will take

5:01 | about 2 weeks and I wanted to get that

5:02 | full month’s worth of data and so after

5:05 | I had all of these products that were in

5:07 | my house that I actually found them on

5:10 | Tik Tock shop in the product Marketplace

5:12 | by simply searching their names remember

5:15 | Tik Tok is just like Google they have

5:17 | search engine optimization so I was able

5:20 | to find each product by searching the

5:23 | market place very easily and so the

5:27 | first product I started with was my

5:29 | airpot Max dupes do I have those hold on

5:33 | guys let me actually grab those be right

5:37 | back okay so these are not actual airpod

5:40 | Maxes believe it or not they look just

5:42 | like it but they’re not uh these cost

5:45 | $10 and so I decided to I have my iPad

5:50 | down here ignore this I decided to start

5:53 | with these because I had watched a lot

5:55 | of Tik Tok Shop videos and a lot of the

5:58 | videos that were going going viral were

6:00 | headphone videos not just these

6:02 | headphones in particular but just

6:04 | headphones and so since I already had

6:06 | these I said why not start with that

6:08 | video and so I posted my first video and

6:11 | guess what guys it did not go viral like

6:14 | it did nothing it generated zero sales

6:18 | and so then I said well let me go back

6:19 | to the drawing board let me look to see

6:23 | let me actually go back and watch all of

6:25 | the viral videos that I had saved

6:27 | because I created um

6:30 | I created a saved folder on my Tik Tock

6:33 | account called Tik Tock shop and any

6:36 | video that was pretty much performing

6:38 | very well I just saved it into that

6:40 | account so I started to go through that

6:42 | saved folder just to see what the videos

6:45 | had in comment if anything and one thing

6:47 | I noticed was that a lot of people who

6:49 | responded to comments their videos were

6:52 | actually performing better and they were

6:54 | getting more traffic so I went to one of

6:56 | the comments that I had received from my

6:58 | first video that I posted and I

7:00 | responded to a girl’s comment I simply

7:02 | shouldered the headphones you know what

7:04 | matter of fact let’s play a snippet of

7:06 | the video I won’t play the whole thing

7:08 | cuz it’s about 3 minutes long just so

7:10 | you can get an idea of how basic the

7:13 | video was it was just a true testimonial

7:16 | video of me talking about the headphones

7:19 | and showing her how they worked but

7:22 | responding to her comment here you

7:24 | [Music]

7:27 | go okay watch

7:30 | this y’all hear

7:33 | it in the

7:38 | bathroom I’m already

7:41 | chosen okay y’all get the point hold

7:44 | up okay as you can see that video is a

7:47 | really basic video but guess what it got

7:50 | over 5.4 million views and made me over

7:54 | $10,000 the commission for the

7:56 | headphones was about a doar and maybe 20

8:00 | cents and I sold so many it’s just

8:03 | ridiculous but I was able to make

8:06 | $110,000 alone just from some airpot Max

8:10 | knockoffs and from a video that I just

8:14 | showed up authentically as me now from

8:17 | here I decided to leverage that data I

8:20 | started to pitch different people on Tik

8:23 | Tok shop mind you I start to get it

8:25 | flooded with offers like my my inbox is

8:28 | ridiculous I get any anywhere from 15 to

8:30 | 30 emails a day from the Tik Tok shop

8:34 | from people from sellers saying can you

8:36 | sell our products I didn’t want to

8:38 | answer any of those um I wanted to make

8:41 | sure that I only got products that I

8:43 | could actually use around my house so I

8:45 | took that data and I started to pitch

8:47 | different people um for example we

8:50 | needed a new bed so I pitched a mar life

8:52 | and said hey in one week I sold

8:56 | $150,000 for a brand on Tik Tok shop I

9:00 | know I can do the same for your brand

9:02 | can I have a free

9:04 | bed and can I have a higher commission

9:07 | and with that strategy alone I was able

9:10 | to get a new bed I was able to

9:12 | redecorate my entire room we got a new

9:14 | bed frame we got mirrors we got lamps we

9:18 | nightstands I’ve got a milk maker I got

9:21 | so many products it’s ridiculous my

9:23 | house is covered in packages but I’m

9:26 | going to be able to use all of the

9:28 | products simply because cuz I made sure

9:29 | I only said yes to products that I

9:32 | really needed for my house now when we

9:34 | review my second month of Tik Tok shop

9:36 | cuz I started October 25th to be exact

9:40 | when we get to my second month which is

9:42 | November to December we’re going to talk

9:44 | about how I up the ante and stopped

9:47 | taking free collab so I stopped asking

9:50 | for free products and exchange for a Tik

9:53 | Tok Shop video and I started saying hey

9:56 | I’ll be more than happy to make the

9:57 | video for you but but I’m going to need

9:59 | a base of $300 I’m going to need a

10:02 | higher commission and I’m going to be a

10:04 | and I’m going to need time to post this

10:06 | video because one of the things I ran

10:08 | into my first month was me feeling very

10:11 | overwhelmed because I had due dates for

10:14 | videos so I have all these products

10:16 | coming in and then I start getting

10:17 | pinged they got my WhatsApp now they got

10:19 | my email they’re messaging me on Tik Tok

10:23 | when’s the video coming when you’re

10:24 | going to post it is it going to post

10:26 | before Black Friday is it going to post

10:28 | Before Christmas I’m packing to go to

10:29 | the east coast your girl was just

10:31 | stressed overall I’m not going to lie to

10:33 | you and so I realized going into month

10:35 | two I need to set the terms for myself

10:38 | and the terms for me is I need a base

10:42 | rate I need to give you a date that’s

10:46 | comfortable with me when posting so even

10:48 | if the product comes on Monday the 1st

10:50 | I’m going to look at my calendar and

10:52 | tell you also I need $300 base and I’m

10:56 | not posting the video until the 20th of

10:59 | of January even though it’s the first

11:01 | right now having these type of

11:02 | boundaries for month two was a game Cher

11:05 | and we’ll cover that when I give you my

11:07 | month two review in a couple of weeks

11:09 | because next Monday I’m walking you

11:11 | through setting up your Tik Tok shop if

11:13 | you have less than 5,000 subscribers so

11:15 | make sure you turn on my notifications

11:25 | true authentic videos of me just showing

11:29 | I did also start to do voiceover videos

11:34 | products and then doing a voiceover but

11:37 | I did notice the ones that perform the

11:38 | best the ones where I gave an actual

11:41 | demonstration or you saw me talking

11:45 | about the product even if I didn’t have

11:47 | it those videos with the overlay towards

11:50 | the end of the month really started to

11:52 | take off you’ll see here with this video

11:56 | I didn’t even own the coat at the time

11:58 | the brand was supposed to send it to me

12:00 | it was taking a while I needed a new

12:02 | product to promote and so I decided to

12:05 | just say that the cult was amazing point

12:08 | to it added in as an overlay or even a

12:10 | green screen when I put it behind me or

12:12 | in front of me and as you can see it got

12:15 | over a million views and is one of my

12:17 | best sellers to date I still make at

12:20 | least $100 to $200 from that video that

12:23 | I posted in October November and I

12:26 | didn’t own the product and you did hear

12:27 | me say I did not own the product right

12:30 | I’m saying that because I don’t want

12:31 | someone on here thinking oh I have to

12:33 | have all these products no a lot of the

12:35 | videos that took off for me my first

12:37 | month I didn’t even own the product they

12:40 | were in route via shipping or some of

12:42 | them I just said hey I don’t even want

12:44 | this product but I want to promote it so

12:46 | I can get the commissions but I don’t

12:47 | need an extra product because we live in

12:50 | a two bed right now we’ll be moving to a

12:52 | three bed this week but it’s just too

12:54 | many products it’s just too much junk

12:57 | and I’m a very minimalist person person

12:59 | and so I only want products that I can

13:01 | use so I’m big on let me promote the

13:03 | product to get the cash but I don’t need

13:05 | the product itself responding to

13:07 | comments giving my testimonials and

13:09 | adding those green screens and overlays

13:11 | I was able to make $24,000 in

13:14 | commissions my first month on Tik Tock

13:15 | shop now I did eventually start to get a

13:18 | lot of free products from Tik Tok shop

13:19 | without having to talk to sellers so if

13:22 | you’re afraid of actually negotiating

13:23 | and pitching don’t worry once you start

13:25 | selling you will qualify for free

13:28 | samples on the Tik Tok shop and that’s

13:30 | where the seller just sends you the

13:31 | sample for free in exchange for a video

13:34 | and you get to post a video on your time

13:36 | now the one thing that I did notice

13:38 | during this month since I did have two

13:40 | accounts remember I had the account that

13:42 | was my primary account that had over

13:44 | 5,000 followers and then I have my zero

13:47 | follower account and I noticed the

13:49 | difference in sales for these accounts

13:53 | depended on how frequently I post it so

13:55 | my main account made more but I was

13:58 | posting anywhere from 3 to four videos

14:00 | every single day my first month on the

14:03 | primary account for Tik Tok shop on the

14:05 | secondary account that’s actually a

14:07 | sellers account that has zero followers

14:09 | I was posting about three times a week

14:12 | so you’re looking at anywhere from 12 to

14:14 | 25 videos on my primary to three maybe

14:18 | five on the secondary backup account and

14:21 | so my sales were heavy or more on this

14:25 | primary account than my secondary

14:27 | account so consistency is something that

14:30 | I did notice plays a huge role in how

14:32 | much money you can make on Tik Tok shop

14:34 | you’re probably asking well how much

14:36 | money did you make on that account that

14:37 | had zero followers I’m averaging about

14:39 | $1,000 to $1,500 every single month on

14:43 | that account that I post about three to

14:45 | five times a week now that you have a

14:47 | gist on how I set up the Tik Tok shop

14:49 | how I got my products how I promoted the

14:52 | products and negotiate it let’s go into

14:56 | the things that I noticed that actually

14:57 | worked and the the things that didn’t

14:59 | work so if you decide to start your

15:01 | account you’ll be able to avoid all of

15:03 | the mistakes that I made and hopefully

15:05 | have an even more successful month than

15:08 | I did the first thing that I would say

15:09 | that worked for me on Tik Tok shop was

15:12 | being my true authentic self like

15:14 | there’s days I had no makeup on my hair

15:16 | is not comb my house looks crazy because

15:19 | we’re packing to go to the east coast

15:22 | like I just showed up as me girl I even

15:25 | added a filter one day my filter wasn’t

15:27 | even on correctly people was clowning me

15:29 | like your lashes is moving why you got

15:31 | to filter on but let me tell you

15:33 | something every time they left those

15:35 | comments that’s engagement I didn’t even

15:37 | care best believe I recorded the next

15:40 | couple of videos with my filter being

15:41 | crazy as well just for the engagement so

15:44 | showing up as who I am talking like I

15:47 | talk not trying to be somebody that I

15:49 | wasn’t really worked in my favor because

15:52 | I feel like people didn’t feel like I

15:54 | was trying to sell them on products they

15:56 | felt like they was talking to a h girl

15:58 | like I talked to to y’all hey sis right

16:01 | and that really worked in my favor so I

16:02 | would say if you’re going to start Tik

16:04 | Tok shop just be you I promise you it’ll

16:08 | pay off in the long run the next thing I

16:10 | noticed is really using those green

16:12 | screens and overlays when I didn’t have

16:14 | a product really helped the video Stay

16:16 | really engaging when I would do a green

16:18 | screen I would have I would be talking

16:20 | in front of the green screen behind me

16:22 | and it would just be moving and changing

16:25 | to different images of the product if it

16:27 | was a overl that was coming in front of

16:30 | me as I was talking in the videos I

16:32 | would have it fly in I would have the

16:34 | swish sound and a lot of animations that

16:37 | really did work if you want a

16:39 | step-by-step tutorial on how to do green

16:41 | screens or overlays for your reals or

16:45 | Tik Tok Shop videos or even just your

16:47 | Tik toks leave that comment below I’ll

16:50 | be more than happy to make a video about

16:52 | that the third thing that worked for me

16:53 | on Tik Tok shop is once a video started

16:56 | to get traffic I’m talking about about

16:58 | the first 5 minutes it has about a th000

17:01 | views typ of trffic once I noticed that

17:05 | oh your girl sto what she was doing I

17:07 | don’t care if I was at the grocery store

17:09 | driving picking up my son it didn’t

17:11 | matter I stopped what I was doing and I

17:14 | made another video immediately about the

17:17 | product and you’re probably thinking

17:19 | well Crystal the video you posted an

17:21 | hour ago is taking off you’re no longer

17:23 | at home how do you just stop and make a

17:26 | video one I will respond to comment cuz

17:29 | remember comments work responding to

17:30 | those comments with the video work like

17:33 | go like chef’s kiss or I would simply

17:37 | just record the video right where I’m at

17:39 | if I’m in my car or at home and I would

17:42 | go through my comments that I’m getting

17:44 | on that on that video and let’s say

17:46 | people are talking about the way it

17:48 | looks or what I did or something of that

17:50 | nature or the price isn’t the same and

17:53 | then I would just make a next video my

17:55 | video will be very simple no more than

17:57 | 15 to 60 seconds and I’m just saying the

18:00 | price is this price you can get a coupon

18:03 | whatever but I made sure that if a video

18:05 | was taken off I made one to two extra

18:09 | videos right away to keep the traffic

18:12 | going and if I didn’t have a response

18:14 | bubble or comment that I could respond

18:16 | to you can also go view other videos for

18:20 | that product go to their comments and

18:23 | respond to a comment on someone else’s

18:25 | video on your page so don’t feel limited

18:29 | that you may not have any comments on

18:31 | your videos use a comment from someone

18:33 | else’s but don’t use too many I did use

18:35 | this one girls I used three of her

18:37 | comments to respond to and she did block

18:40 | me so you don’t want to get blocked so I

18:42 | didn’t I didn’t know that there was

18:43 | anything wrong with that so I would

18:45 | recommend just do one here and there

18:46 | from different people okay and those

18:49 | were the top things that worked for me

18:50 | the first month on Tik Tok shop now here

18:53 | are the things that did not work or made

18:56 | me say ooh for my first month on Tik Tok

19:00 | shop the first thing that did not work

19:02 | was once a video went viral one time the

19:05 | headphone videos to be exact it started

19:07 | getting what 5 something million I’m

19:09 | like wow well if this is working on this

19:12 | account let me take that video let me

19:15 | remove the watermark even though it’s my

19:17 | video and let me just post it to the

19:19 | backup account right wrong well I got

19:23 | hit with a copyright infringement

19:25 | because I copied a video from another

19:29 | account doesn’t matter that I am the

19:31 | same person that is in the video I

19:34 | copied the exact same video from another

19:36 | account I got hit with a copyright

19:38 | infringement and what you’re going to

19:40 | notice about Tik Tock shop is they will

19:43 | ding you and give you violations you can

19:46 | only get 24 violations in a 90day period

19:50 | if you get 24 they will take and shut

19:53 | down your account any money that you

19:55 | have just sitting there will be taken

19:56 | from you as well so you you have to

19:58 | really watch the guidelines so you do

20:01 | not get violations one violation is what

20:04 | some violations are one point but a lot

20:06 | of them are about six points each the

20:09 | next thing that did not work for me on

20:10 | Tik Tock shop is mentioning a brand So

20:14 | airpod Max or using the words dupe

20:18 | mentioning Lulu cuz I have a jacket that

20:20 | everyone say oh it’s a Lululemon dupe

20:23 | don’t do it I got a violation and they

20:26 | said that I was is tradem Market

20:28 | infringement at that point so and then I

20:31 | and then I got one saying that I was

20:33 | trying to promote counterfeit products

20:35 | so do not say dupes do not mention

20:39 | another brand whether it’s text on

20:41 | screen or when you’re say or when you’re

20:43 | talking about the product let people in

20:45 | the comments mention it and you can

20:47 | respond to those comments but the idea

20:51 | of saying the word dup or the Brand’s

20:54 | name you will get a violation they will

20:57 | take that video down down and that’s six

20:59 | points and again it stays on your

21:01 | account for 90 days and within those 90

21:03 | days if you get to 24 points for your

21:07 | violations your account is taking

21:09 | forever the third thing that did not

21:11 | work for me on Tik Tok shop my first 30

21:13 | days was using other people’s comments

21:17 | so that I could respond to them with the

21:19 | video so I could have that comment

21:21 | bubble since that tend to work and push

21:24 | the videos out further as I stated

21:26 | before I used one girl’s bub

21:29 | and using her bubble three different

21:31 | times she blocked me and so after that I

21:34 | realized if I’m going to use other

21:36 | people’s comments there’s tons of videos

21:38 | on the product that you’re promoting

21:39 | trust me when you go into the product

21:42 | page it gives you other great videos

21:44 | that have been successful go through

21:47 | each video find one comment move on to

21:50 | the next if you have another comment you

21:51 | video you want to make but do not double

21:54 | up or triple up from one person because

21:56 | they will block you and I’m I’m assuming

21:58 | that’s a bad thing in regards to using

22:01 | people’s comments I don’t know I never

22:03 | thought it was bad people use my

22:04 | comments I feel no type of way you’re

22:07 | not taking money from me whatsoever but

22:09 | the fact that I got blocked made me feel

22:11 | like maybe this is wrong I don’t know

22:13 | and the fourth and final thing that I

22:15 | would say that did not work for me or

22:17 | that I noticed that doesn’t work for Tik

22:18 | Tok shop is really being inconsistent

22:20 | posting a video on Monday and then

22:22 | coming back on Friday like it’ll get

22:24 | some traffic if it’s a good video your

22:26 | chances are lower of actually getting a

22:28 | viral video and so I mean it’s a numbers

22:32 | game right it just makes sense the more

22:35 | content you put out there the higher

22:37 | probability of one of them actually

22:38 | being successful there was a huge

22:40 | difference from making almost $11,000 to

22:44 | $1,500 a month on my backup account to

22:47 | $24,000 on my main one and it has

22:49 | nothing to do with the actual numbers

22:52 | the videos performed better on my main

22:55 | one simply because of the fact that I

22:56 | was more consistent again if a video

22:58 | took off I made more videos I didn’t do

23:01 | that for the backup account I just

23:02 | wanted to do totally different things

23:05 | just so I could have true data and true

23:07 | comparison for you guys and that’s how

23:08 | my first month on Tik Tock shop went now
