Virginia’s Richmond Symphony has appointed Christopher Anderson as vice president of marketing and sales. Most recently, he served as chief marketing officer for the Washington Ballet, where he led initiatives to align marketing strategies with organizational goals, resulting in record-breaking annual sales. He previously worked at Jazz at Lincoln Center and Sony Music Entertainment. Anderson studied music at the University of Virginia and completed marketing business course work through General Assembly in New York City. He is an alumnus of the Sphinx LEAD (Leaders in Excellence, Arts & Diversity) program, a two-year initiative developed by the Sphinx Organization that champions diversity in the arts. Lacey Huszcza is executive director of the Richmond Symphony.
