Digital services and eCommerce company Rakuten Group has appointed marketing agency BOING! as its new global agency partner to manage its global campaigns in a standing contract.
Through the appointment, BOING! will utilise its experience and strategic insights to develop and execute tailored marketing strategies for Rakuten Group across their digital channels.

The approach will also focus on driving brand awareness, engagement and customer loyalty as Rakuten Group aims to elevate its brand presence in the competitive digital landscape even further.

Consumers can expect project roll outs from the partnership in the second quarter of the year, according to a spokesperson at the agency.
The appointment comes within the first month of BOING!’s operations. It is a fully remote firm with the goal of disrupting traditional agency models, with founder Ailsa Tan at its helm.
BOING! offers a suite of services including advertising, branding, digital marketing, events, public relations, and strategy planning.
BOING! is also poised to disrupt traditional agency models with a new approach to work culture and client service.
