While most 24 year olds are stuck working jobs they hate, tapped in debt, just trying to find their place in life, up and coming entrepreneur Josh Griz has made a promising pivot to avoid this common pitfall. He now shares his journey and skill sets with others so they can follow suit.
Currently, Griz lives a life of freedom that many folks three times his age never accomplish. He is completely “free”: financially free, time-free, and location-free, as he travels the country, making a life he’s always dreamt of.
However, life was not always this free for Josh. Growing up in an area near Charleston, SC, Josh was blessed to attend prep school in the prestigious Hilton Head. He later played football at Charleston Southern, earning an accounting degree. Later, he admits he graduated knowing very little bout business, such as how to sell, market, or create jobs. He realized he had to take matters into his own hands.
This wasn’t an instant fix, though. A bit of time at the “school of hard knocks” found Josh fired from multiple jobs, failed gigs, and even sleeping in his own vehicle.
The first realization for Josh was to stop consuming so much. It may seem a given, but with consumerism out of hand for many, “less is more” was a great first step. He knew that taking a risk was the only way to go after the freedom he wanted. With online affiliate marketing on the rise, that was the risk Josh took for his first step tofreedom.
Griz supported this while working a few 9 to 5 jobs last summer, along with several side gigs and side hustles. “One thing just led to another for me,” he explains. He began selling online, figuring out that being well-known is one magic key in selling a product or service.
It was at that point that Josh harnessed social media to help bolster his growth. After retaining over 70,000 followers on TikTok, in five months, sharing his truths of finance and business relationships.
Josh described that when someone approaches him for help, he sparks their curiosity around how to market products and services online using social media. It’s a huge satisfaction for him to help people make extra money. “Many people have a job, school, sports, full-time families, but they can still bank an extra three, four, five grand a month to pay their bills,” Griz revealed. “Often, people think they don’t have time, but this can be done with just a couple of hours a day.”
While there were hurdles, Josh’s positive, self-encouraging attitude surely contributed to his unusual success. “You just gotta go for it, obviously, always! I’ve never had self-doubt, and I always knew I could do this. I knew I was meant for something more than a nine to five!” Following his own advice, Josh is a stunning example of self-motivated success.
Online content is the avenue Josh gave followers the encouragement that many were waiting for. Some have praised Josh as what they needed when on the brink of failure. He has heard, “I knew if Josh could do it, maybe I could, too!” Part of his marketing strategy is reminding others that nothing is impossible.
Josh claims his method is simple. “I simply teach people how to use affiliate marketing, with no up-front costs, no need to own a product or service. Just go to any niche and apply for free, whatever you think will sell best.” Josh sells his 15-day Challenge course, and another is set to release in 2023. It takes you from your current level and shows how to utilize the internet to sell. “YOU, a normal person, can take matters into your own hands, self-educate, learn a skill, go out on your own, and become who you want to be,” Josh assures his followers.
Griz shared his advice to aspiring entrepreneurs as if he could time travel and speak to the younger version of himself saying, “Don’t wait for the stars to align, there’s never a perfect time to start. Just do it, go for it, upload, make that call. Make that happen, take the initiative. Get up and do it.”
That mindset has now helped over 200 people in the last year reach $10k per month by utilizing affiliate marketing. “Don’t get me wrong I love making money, but I also have a big heart for helping others achieve their financial goals.”
