• 0:58 | there that’s not really familiar on
• 0:59 | exactly how it works so ClickBank is
• 1:01 | mainly used as an affiliate Network
• 1:03 | which is where business owners can list
• 1:05 | their products for sale and they’re also
• 1:06 | going to be able to offer a commission
• 1:07 | so that whenever affiliate marketers let
• 1:09 | me and you want to promote that product
• 1:11 | or service we’re going to be able to
• 1:12 | make that commission so it’s a very
• 1:14 | simple business model but there are some
• 1:15 | pros and cons that you need to be aware
• 1:17 | of for you to fully understand on
• 1:18 | whether or not ClickBank affiliate
• 1:20 | marketing fits in with your business
• 1:21 | plan over the long term and one of the
• 1:23 | first poses that they’ve rarely ever
• 1:24 | missed the payout and by this what I
• 1:26 | mean is that if they owe you a certain
• 1:27 | amount of money at the end of the month
• 1:29 | chances are they’re going to pay it out
• 1:30 | without any issues as long as you’ve
• 1:32 | verified your account fully which I’m
• 1:33 | going to speak about in a moment however
• 1:35 | when it comes to various other affiliate
• 1:37 | marketing networks out there for
• 1:38 | whatever reason they tend to delay
• 1:39 | payouts longer than what they should do
• 1:41 | one of the next Pros is that there’s
• 1:42 | many different products to choose from
• 1:44 | so one good thing about ClickBank is
• 1:45 | that you’re going to be able to find
• 1:47 | both physical products and digital
• 1:48 | products which means that it’s not going
• 1:50 | to be really difficult for you to have a
• 1:51 | lot of options to choose from and
• 1:52 | potentially find a winning product
• 1:54 | that’s going to make you a decent amount
• 1:55 | of money and one of the final process
• 1:57 | that the sign up process is very easy
• 1:58 | now it is very important be aware of the
• 2:00 | fact that some countries are restricted
• 2:02 | but if you are from one of the countries
• 2:03 | that they do accept then you’re not
• 2:04 | going to have to provide too much proof
• 2:06 | about your social media you don’t have
• 2:08 | to have a Blog website that gets a
• 2:09 | certain amount of traffic every single
• 2:11 | month you don’t have to have a big
• 2:12 | YouTube following you’re going to be
• 2:13 | able to sign up simply by giving them
• 2:15 | your name email address telephone number
• 2:17 | and that’s basically it but this now
• 2:18 | brings me on to one of the first cons
• 2:19 | which is that due to the low barrier to
• 2:21 | entry and the fact that a lot of people
• 2:22 | can sign up and instantly get accepted
• 2:24 | you’re automatically going to have to
• 2:26 | deal with more competition and I would
• 2:27 | say that this is one of the main things
• 2:28 | that I personally don’t like about using
• 2:30 | ClickBank which is that so many
• 2:31 | different affiliate marketers are
• 2:32 | promoting the exact same products which
• 2:34 | means that there’s no real exclusivity
• 2:35 | with the items that you’re promoting
• 2:37 | which can now give your affiliate
• 2:38 | marketing business some sort of a spammy
• 2:40 | image because it may look like you’re
• 2:42 | promoting spermi products and this now
• 2:43 | brings me on to a separate issue when it
• 2:45 | comes to all of the different products
• 2:46 | that are available which is that I don’t
• 2:47 | believe that there’s any further checks
• 2:49 | that are being done with all of the
• 2:50 | different items that are available on
• 2:51 | ClickBank right now ready for you to
• 2:53 | promote and because there’s so many
• 2:54 | different items and there’s so many
• 2:55 | different info products digital products
• 2:57 | and courses a lot of them may not
• 2:59 | provide the results so they’re claiming
• 3:00 | that they’re going to provide which
• 3:01 | again is going to have a big effect on
• 3:03 | your affiliate marketing business if you
• 3:05 | don’t really know exactly what to look
• 3:06 | out for and you’re not really doing the
• 3:07 | right research and one of the final cons
• 3:09 | is that in some cases they can have slow
• 3:11 | customer service so if you’re trying to
• 3:13 | contact them because you’ve got an issue
• 3:14 | maybe your account is not working or
• 3:16 | something is happening it could take up
• 3:18 | to five to seven days for you to get a
• 3:20 | response and this is definitely
• 3:21 | something that you need to be aware of
• 3:22 | because one thing that I’ve learned over
• 3:24 | my years of doing affiliate marketing is
• 3:25 | that you want to be able to contact your
• 3:27 | affiliate marketing manager and get a
• 3:29 | response back ASAP without having to
• 3:31 | wait too long because one small issue
• 3:33 | can end up affecting your business over
• 3:35 | the long term alright so now that you’re
• 3:36 | aware of the different pros and cons I
• 3:38 | want to show you exactly what you need
• 3:39 | to do when it comes to signing up and
• 3:41 | exactly what you need to know when it
• 3:42 | comes to navigating through the website
• 3:44 | so what you need to do is click on start
• 3:45 | here then you’re going to see this
• 3:46 | pop-up but what you need to do is click
• 3:48 | on this option over here where it says
• 3:50 | skip this quick start guide It’s then
• 3:52 | going to take you to this page over here
• 3:53 | then what you need to do when it comes
• 3:54 | to actually signing up is come down to
• 3:56 | this section then what you need to do is
• 3:57 | fill out all of this information so I’m
• 3:59 | going to do that now and show you
• 4:00 | exactly what it’s going to ask for next
• 4:01 | so once you’ve done that this is the
• 4:03 | page that you’re going to see where
• 4:04 | they’re going to ask you if you want to
• 4:05 | join their free community but if you
• 4:07 | don’t want to you can just click on no
• 4:08 | thanks and continue to sign up alright
• 4:10 | so the account has now been created then
• 4:12 | what you need to do is go to complete my
• 4:14 | profile and from this stage you’re going
• 4:15 | to have to fill out your address your
• 4:17 | telephone number again your ZIP code
• 4:18 | fill out exactly how you want to be paid
• 4:20 | and then click on Save and once you’ve
• 4:22 | done that this is the next page that
• 4:23 | you’re going to see and it’s very
• 4:24 | important to make sure that you first
• 4:26 | and foremost create your account
• 4:27 | nickname because this is what you’re
• 4:28 | going to need when it comes to you being
• 4:30 | able to generate your affiliate links so
• 4:31 | what we’re going to do is just click on
• 4:33 | create my account nickname over here
• 4:34 | then click on create a nickname again
• 4:36 | when it comes to account type you’re
• 4:38 | going to select whichever one relates to
• 4:39 | you but if you are going to be promoting
• 4:41 | products then you need to click on
• 4:43 | affiliate then in this section when it
• 4:44 | comes to the actual nickname you’re just
• 4:45 | going to type in anything that meets
• 4:47 | this criteria over here so for example I
• 4:49 | may want to enter something like success
• 4:51 | sa and as we can see over here it says
• 4:53 | congratulations the nickname is
• 4:54 | available then what I need to do is just
• 4:56 | click on sign up alright so perfect now
• 4:58 | the next thing that we need to do when
• 4:59 | it comes to being able to see all of the
• 5:01 | different products that are available
• 5:02 | for us to start promoting is by clicking
• 5:04 | on this option over here where it says
• 5:06 | affiliate Marketplace and at the top
• 5:07 | section over here you’re going to see
• 5:08 | all of these different categories for
• 5:10 | example top offers new offers E-Business
• 5:13 | and e-marketing self-help Home and
• 5:15 | Garden etc etc so depending on what type
• 5:17 | of category that you want to focus on
• 5:19 | you’re obviously going to select the
• 5:20 | appropriate one right here so for now
• 5:22 | I’m just going to click on E-Business
• 5:24 | and e-marketing now there’s a few things
• 5:25 | that I want to point out to you just so
• 5:26 | that you fully understand what are the
• 5:28 | key things that you need to be looking
• 5:29 | out for so first and foremost I’m going
• 5:31 | to show you this section over here where
• 5:32 | it says average conversion and what this
• 5:34 | number here is showing you is how much
• 5:36 | on average you’re potentially going to
• 5:38 | make if you was to promote this
• 5:39 | particular product so if I did want to
• 5:41 | promote this I’m going to be able to
• 5:42 | make 62.41 on average per every single
• 5:46 | person that signs up through my link and
• 5:47 | the next thing that you’re going to look
• 5:48 | out for is the gravity score and this is
• 5:50 | going to give you an indication of your
• 5:52 | chances of being successful when it
• 5:53 | comes to being able to make conversions
• 5:55 | so for example if I go to sort results
• 5:57 | buy and then click on gravity high to
• 6:00 | low all of these products at the top
• 6:01 | that have a high gravity score shows
• 6:03 | that all of the people that are
• 6:04 | promoting it are seeing more success
• 6:05 | than let’s say the one at the bottom
• 6:07 | that has a lower gravity score and
• 6:09 | another thing that I want to show you
• 6:10 | guys before we move on is this section
• 6:11 | over here and this is going to let you
• 6:13 | know some key features about the product
• 6:15 | that you’re looking at so for example we
• 6:17 | can see that there’s various upsells so
• 6:19 | if you want to promote this it’s not
• 6:20 | just the initial product that you’re
• 6:22 | promoting there’s various different
• 6:23 | upsells in the back end that you’re also
• 6:25 | going to be able to make a commission
• 6:27 | from and it’s also letting me know that
• 6:28 | I’m going to be able to make maybe a
• 6:30 | one-time commission and there’s also an
• 6:31 | option for recurring commissions too but
• 6:33 | either way this section here is going to
• 6:34 | give you a summary of the product that
• 6:36 | you’re looking at and it’s going to help
• 6:37 | you know whether or not it’s worth your
• 6:38 | time in promoting this one or a
• 6:39 | different one alright so when it comes
• 6:41 | to being able to get your affiliate link
• 6:42 | the way that you’re going to do that is
• 6:43 | by clicking on promote then what you
• 6:45 | need to do is enter in the nickname that
• 6:47 | you created earlier so in my case it was
• 6:49 | success sa then what I’m going to do is
• 6:51 | click on create hop link and just to
• 6:53 | clarify this for you guys The Hop link
• 6:55 | is the same thing as an affiliate link
• 6:57 | so if someone uses this link right here
• 6:59 | they sign up for for this particular
• 7:00 | product or they buy this product I’m
• 7:02 | going to be able to make a commission so
• 7:03 | moving on to one of the next things that
• 7:05 | you guys need to be aware of when it
• 7:06 | comes to using ClickBank and promoting
• 7:08 | all of these different products is that
• 7:10 | not all of them are going to give you
• 7:11 | marketing materials to help you get more
• 7:13 | conversions and the way that you’re
• 7:14 | going to be able to figure out which
• 7:16 | ones are giving you more information for
• 7:18 | you to promote the product in a better
• 7:19 | way is by clicking on this option over
• 7:21 | here where it says affiliate page and on
• 7:23 | this page what they’re basically doing
• 7:24 | is giving you all of the materials
• 7:26 | that’s led to them as well as their
• 7:28 | Affiliates being able to make the most
• 7:29 | conversions possible because you have to
• 7:31 | remember that their main aim is to help
• 7:32 | you get sales because of course if
• 7:34 | you’re able to get sales then they’re
• 7:35 | going to make money so for example
• 7:37 | they’re giving you information on all of
• 7:38 | the products that they’re going to
• 7:39 | upsell they’re also giving you landing
• 7:41 | pages pre-written emails Facebook ad
• 7:44 | images the best type of demographics to
• 7:46 | go after etc etc so there’s so much
• 7:48 | information here that’s going to help
• 7:49 | you when it comes to you knowing exactly
• 7:51 | how to promote this product in the best
• 7:53 | way possible and just to remind you it’s
• 7:54 | not every single product here that’s
• 7:56 | going to give you this much information
• 7:57 | some of them give you more some of them
• 7:59 | give you less but you’re going to be
• 8:00 | able to find out all of that information
• 8:01 | by clicking on the affiliate page button
• 8:04 | over here now when it comes to getting
• 8:05 | people to actually click your affiliate
• 8:06 | links there’s so many different ways
• 8:08 | that you’re going to be able to build up
• 8:09 | traffic but two of the main ways is by
• 8:10 | using free traffic and paid traffic but
• 8:13 | no matter what way you’re looking to do
• 8:14 | it you’re going to end up using one of
• 8:15 | these different platforms whether it’s
• 8:17 | using Google ads or just creating a Blog
• 8:19 | maybe using YouTube ads or just posting
• 8:21 | content same thing with Facebook and
• 8:23 | Tick Tock ads you can have a post
• 8:24 | content for free or use the ad platform
• 8:27 | but the most important thing that you
• 8:28 | need to make sure that you remember is
• 8:29 | to direct that traffic into an email
• 8:31 | list the mistake that most people make
• 8:33 | when it comes to doing affiliate
• 8:34 | marketing is that they want to send
• 8:35 | people directly to the affiliate link
• 8:37 | itself when in reality you need to make
• 8:39 | sure that you send someone to an email
• 8:41 | list first because by doing this you’re
• 8:42 | going to be able to build up an organic
• 8:44 | relationship with that person and once
• 8:45 | you’ve emailed that person a certain
• 8:47 | amount of valuable content over a period
• 8:48 | of time you’re now going to be in a
• 8:50 | position where you can start sending
• 8:51 | them out affiliate offers well of course
• 8:53 | there’s so much more that goes into
• 8:54 | doing affiliate marketing I just wanted
• 8:55 | to give you guys the basic things that I
• 8:57 | wish someone told me at the start of my
• 8:58 | journey because you it would have helped
• 9:00 | me get to over fifteen thousand dollars
