• 1:54 | was like the annoying little brother
• 1:55 | that just followed them everywhere that
• 1:57 | they went right everyone was in their
• 1:59 | 30s 40s 50s and I was just like this
• 2:01 | Punk 21 22 23 year old kid right and I
• 2:04 | just wanted to see how I could add value
• 2:05 | how I could add value how I can add
• 2:07 | value millions of times these people
• 2:09 | that made millions in affiliate
• 2:10 | marketing
• 2:11 | they didn’t have a personal brand right
• 2:13 | so essentially what I did is I just went
• 2:15 | up and I was like Hey what if I just
• 2:17 | interview what if I just interview and
• 2:19 | and when I interviewed them that’s when
• 2:20 | I kind of found out what everything is
• 2:21 | affiliate marketing is very beautiful
• 2:22 | because you don’t need your own product
• 2:24 | you don’t need your own service you
• 2:25 | don’t need your own team there are
• 2:26 | literally products out there what if you
• 2:28 | recommend it someone else will do the
• 2:29 | shipping the handling the customer
• 2:30 | service they built the team you
• 2:32 | literally get paid most of the money
• 2:33 | right so that’s what I learned from all
• 2:35 | these multi-millionaires they just focus
• 2:37 | on finding products to sell and then
• 2:39 | selling to people so then I was asking I
• 2:42 | was like well where did you find the
• 2:43 | people well multiple different ways you
• 2:45 | can either build an audience on an email
• 2:47 | list so a lot of them had email list
• 2:48 | audiences but they didn’t have big
• 2:50 | personal brands on YouTube others could
• 2:52 | build it on YouTube others could build
• 2:53 | it on Tick Tock others can build it on
• 2:55 | Instagram doesn’t matter you take them
• 2:58 | from the social media platforms and you
• 3:00 | put them on an email list the reason why
• 3:02 | is when you have them on an email list
• 3:04 | you could sell them forever doesn’t
• 3:05 | matter what social media comes up and
• 3:07 | down you could always sell them forever
• 3:08 | does that make sense so when I started
• 3:10 | interviewing them I started realizing
• 3:12 | that all of them focused on building a
• 3:13 | list building a list building a list you
• 3:15 | can build the list on email you could
• 3:16 | build a list on YouTube you can build a
• 3:17 | list on Instagram you can build a list

• 3:29 | more questions asking more questions and
• 3:31 | I documented everything I was like okay

• 3:35 | thing enough is I didn’t know this at
• 3:37 | the time but because I was naturally
• 3:39 | curious about affiliate marketing with
• 3:40 | them and I was creating content about
• 3:42 | guess who I started attracting people
• 3:45 | that were interested in affiliate
• 3:46 | marketing all these affiliate marketers
• 3:48 | started coming and looking up at my
• 3:49 | videos because I was just interviewing
• 3:51 | the people that I looked up to right and
• 3:53 | we had like this little Mr Miyagi Karate
• 3:55 | Kid approach where it’s like I was like
• 3:56 | the homeless Backpacker guy that looked
• 3:58 | like a digital Nomad right just looked
• 4:00 | completely homeless and here were like
• 4:01 | the sage internet marketing gurus that
• 4:03 | made millions of dollars in affiliate
• 4:04 | marketing and I remember I accidentally
• 4:06 | built a list of affiliate marketers
• 4:09 | right and I didn’t know exactly how to
• 4:11 | monetize this but my mentor was like oh
• 4:13 | we had one video that blew up it got
• 4:15 | like half a million views made no money
• 4:17 | from it but it was just cool because I
• 4:19 | was naturally asking these questions
• 4:20 | that I was actually curious about and my
• 4:23 | mentor was like you know what hey uh
• 4:24 | we’re gonna go ahead and launch a
• 4:25 | product we’re gonna launch a course it’s
• 4:28 | gonna be a high ticket course I was like
• 4:29 | huh a high ticket course uh how does
• 4:32 | that work and essentially he’s like you
• 4:34 | go ahead and invite your list to an
• 4:36 | event or sales presentation I’ll do the
• 4:39 | selling if they sell I’ll give you half
• 4:41 | of the of the sale I’m like wait so I
• 4:43 | don’t need my own product he’s like no I
• 4:45 | don’t need to sell I’m like no I just
• 4:47 | have to invite people to this event this
• 4:49 | digital event that you’re going to do
• 4:50 | this on he’s like yeah and literally I
• 4:52 | did that okay now here is this I built
• 4:55 | this audience up for maybe six months
• 4:57 | six months consistently didn’t know how
• 5:00 | much money I was gonna make didn’t think
• 5:01 | about affiliate marketing at all I
• 5:03 | recommended it to this one event and
• 5:04 | that one event made me 300 Grand
• 5:07 | 300 Grand now think about this it was no
• 5:10 | money no money no money no money money I
• 5:12 | was building up an audience and then bam
• 5:13 | 300 Grand this happened again I went to
• 5:16 | this Mindvalley event if you don’t know
• 5:18 | what Mindvalley is it’s like the super
• 5:19 | spirituality event because I went on
• 5:20 | like this deep spiritual path and I was
• 5:22 | like meditating all the time and I went
• 5:23 | to this event and essentially this guy
• 5:25 | was like start a podcast because that’s
• 5:27 | what you value the most you value
• 5:29 | meeting interesting people you you value
• 5:31 | being creative you you value really
• 5:32 | awesome discussions right so started
• 5:34 | creating a podcast essentially what it
• 5:36 | is is when I got a podcast I was like I
• 5:38 | don’t know anything about podcasts I
• 5:39 | just need to find interesting people I
• 5:41 | then reached out to all my interesting
• 5:43 | friends in Bali and I was like hey I’m
• 5:44 | starting a podcast let me interview you
• 5:46 | funny thing enough it happened again
• 5:47 | those podcasts ended up blowing up I
• 5:50 | accidentally built a new audience and
• 5:52 | these people were asking me things like
• 5:53 | hey Mike we have this question we have
• 5:54 | this question we want to buy things
• 5:56 | through I was like I have nothing to
• 5:57 | sell but I built this audience where
• 6:00 | they were essentially telling me that
• 6:01 | they want to go ahead and buy from the
• 6:02 | person that interviewed and the person
• 6:04 | that I interviewed was like hey Mike
• 6:05 | people have been sliding my DMs every
• 6:07 | single day wanting to give me money but
• 6:09 | because it came for me what if we just
• 6:10 | do another launch and I was like okay
• 6:11 | let’s just do another launch again one
• 6:14 | of the persons did this like big event
• 6:16 | online and I just invited to there and
• 6:18 | again just like that on the first day it
• 6:20 | was like 7 70 grand 70 grand
• 6:23 | in affiliate marketing now here’s the
• 6:25 | thing when people get started in
• 6:27 | affiliate marketing they they don’t
• 6:29 | think about it in the most long-term
• 6:31 | period of things people think oh I need
• 6:33 | to go ahead and find a product to sell
• 6:34 | and then find the audience or I need to
