We are seeking a Social Media Intern to join and support our social media efforts. As a Social Media Intern, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing social media platforms, and helping in the PR strategy of the business growth stage. The ideal candidate will have a strong design sense, a creative mindset, and be eager to learn about social media marketing and brand building.
Abode The Collective is a young business in the premium design space & has been focusing on the B2B market for the past few years. The new facelift of the brand and audience shift to B2C means the founding team are working on creative campaigns, new products & launch strategies different to those In the market. This is an exciting opportunity for a new team member to gain experience in how brand building is implemented through ads, marketing budgets, press kits etc.

Great with social platforms across IG & Tiktok
Great with creating content outside of the box with a focus on reels and blog style content.

Responsibilities:
Create and curate content for our social media platforms – Reels & Posts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
Assist in the creation and implementation of social media marketing campaigns
Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of our campaigns
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and provide recommendations on how to improve our social media presence
Assist in the design of marketing collateral, including graphics and images
Provide support in the planning and execution of the product launch event
Admin support with dealing with Graphic designers, suppliers etc.
Photoshoot prepreation and execution
Qualifications
Strong design skills and a keen eye for aesthetics
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Familiarity with social media platforms and their best practices (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Passionate about marketing and brand building
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
Experience with photography and video production a plus
Duration: This internship will be for a duration of 3 with the potential for paid contracting work on an ongoing basis after 3 months.
Location: This is a 60% remote internship besides on-shoot days, product design days etc.
