1:20 | company look for an affiliate or

1:22 | referral sign up get the link send my

1:24 | friend a link and it would then benefit

1:26 | both of us this is because that company

1:28 | would then pay me a commission for

1:29 | referring someone and usually those

1:31 | referral links even give the person

1:33 | who’s signing up for it an incentive as

1:36 | well it’s one of those things where if

1:37 | someone decides they want to buy them

1:39 | anyways why not earn a small Commission

1:41 | on it now if we expand that to a larger

1:44 | scale let’s say I really love these

1:46 | headphones that I was using and I want

1:47 | to refer more people than just my one

1:50 | friend this is where the power of social

1:51 | media comes in this is where the power

1:53 | of marketing comes in because if you

1:55 | know how to run paid ads you can reach a

1:57 | lot more people now that headphone

1:58 | example is something very real I used

2:18 | a referral program I got my entire

2:20 | family signed up for this service I got

2:22 | a lot of people signed up for this

2:23 | service I’ve been getting a lot of good

2:24 | feedback I’ve been saving other people

2:26 | money and since then that referral

2:28 | program has been doing so well that I

2:31 | will never have to pay for cell phone

2:32 | service again I don’t want to say as

2:34 | long as I live because I don’t know how

2:35 | long I’m gonna live for your boy might

2:37 | live to 200 I’m eating some potatoes you

2:42 | well anyways I was able to accrue enough

2:49 | on my own for at least 10 to 20 years

2:51 | now here’s the thing when it comes to

2:55 | doesn’t really scale if you’re doing it

2:56 | entirely by yourself the problem is if

2:58 | you want to refer people to more than

3:00 | just one product it gets harder and

3:02 | harder because you then have to stay on

3:03 | top of all the different Affiliates now

3:06 | generally each one has its own program

3:07 | on a separate platform and it can get

3:09 | really confusing pretty fast on top of

3:12 | it being pre-time consuming to manage

3:14 | just imagine having to negotiate

3:15 | communicate then promote all these

3:17 | different products and then trying to

3:19 | invoice those companies to make sure

3:21 | that they pay you on time now listen

3:23 | I’ve been able to find some pretty big

3:24 | success with affiliate marketing but I

3:26 | don’t think I could have managed it all

3:28 | on my own if each affiliate had its own

3:30 | website that had to hop into this is why

3:33 | something that has changed the landscape

3:35 | of our own media business was utilizing

3:37 | affiliate networks now if you don’t know

3:39 | affiliate networks they’re just

3:40 | platforms designed to pull together

3:42 | hundreds if not thousands of Brands into

3:44 | a single website to make it easier to

3:47 | keep on top of your conversions your

3:49 | payouts your relationships your

3:51 | contracts and more instead of

3:52 | approaching Brands directly messaging

3:54 | them through email it’s all then brought

3:56 | into one Central dashboard where almost

3:59 | in essence you’re shopping around for

4:05 | can begin marketing what I’ve also

4:16 | networks as an example ladies and gents

4:18 | I’m here within our impact and if I even

4:21 | just go into this month or even the last

4:24 | 30 days I can see out of all of the many

4:27 | different affiliate programs I work with

4:29 | I can see my total pending balance that

4:32 | these Brands owe me and I can see the

4:33 | clicks that we’re getting on our links

4:36 | if I go into this top part of the screen

4:37 | I can click on find my Brands I can go

4:39 | into All Brands and see all the many

4:42 | different companies that I can decide to

4:44 | work with and if I realize oh I’ve heard

4:46 | of upwork before I’ve used them before I

4:49 | can simply just click on a program see

4:52 | what their payout is 70 in 30 days I can

4:55 | apply and even from there and just like

4:57 | that once the brand approves my

4:58 | application you’re ready set to go so

5:01 | just right there you’re able to see

5:02 | firsthand how much easier it is when you

5:05 | have an affiliate network to use now

5:07 | when it comes to knowing what is

5:09 | actually a good affiliate Network I

5:10 | believe it just comes down to three

5:12 | simple factors one it needs to be easily

5:14 | accessible without the need for a huge

5:16 | social media or web following because

5:18 | not a lot of people are going to have a

5:20 | million followers or subscribers or

5:22 | whatever it is most people starting out

5:23 | they’re lucky to have even just a

5:25 | thousand followers but that shouldn’t

5:27 | hold you back from being able to have

5:29 | access to some of these links look if

5:31 | you’re a bit more introverted that’s

5:32 | completely okay because if you have this

5:34 | right here in between your skull it’s a

5:36 | little brain this guy you can do things

5:38 | like paid ads or you can create faceless

5:40 | content channels or you can still

5:41 | continue to you utilize things like Tick

5:44 | Tock through ugc content to build

5:47 | following and to build views and still

5:49 | get approved for a lot of these

5:51 | different affiliate programs within the

5:53 | network the second factor that I look

5:55 | for in good affiliate networks is that

5:58 | they need to have products that you want

5:59 | to share and that people will actually

6:01 | want to buy look there’s going to be

6:03 | some affiliate networks that have just

6:05 | like the crummiest scammiest companies

6:07 | and if that’s the case run run real far

6:10 | it’s not going to be useful to you if

6:12 | you’re able to get a sale and then

6:14 | whatever you promote ends up being just

6:15 | a terrible product for that consumer the

6:18 | third important factor is that you need

6:20 | to be certain that you can get paid

6:21 | which means having a reasonable minimum

6:23 | payout and reliability from the platform

6:25 | look if one of these affiliate networks

6:27 | is completely brand new and you do all

6:30 | the work you get people to sign up and

6:31 | then they tell you we’re gonna pay you

6:33 | net 365 days meaning they may not pay

6:37 | you up to a year long look I’ve had some

6:41 | very long period a time it’s actually

6:55 | going to take a look at each of them

6:56 | ranking them based on three categories

7:04 | all right so we’re gonna start from

7:06 | bottom and then go to the golden top and

7:08 | this is going to be Amazon Affiliates in

7:11 | terms of accessibility I’m going to give

7:12 | this a 4 out of 5 ease of use of four

7:14 | out of five and then potential earnings

7:16 | an unfortunate one out of five but let

7:18 | me explain more so as most of you guys

7:20 | should know Amazon actually has one of

7:22 | the biggest affiliate networks to exist

7:25 | so first of all to get started with the

7:27 | Amazon Associates program it’s actually

7:28 | really simple go to Amazon scroll down

7:31 | to the bottom of the page and you’ll see

7:33 | a link that says Amazon Affiliates when

7:35 | you click that it’ll bring you to a page

7:36 | where you can get signed up and in order

7:38 | to get approved for Amazon Associates

7:40 | there’s a few requirements to keep in if

7:43 | you’re a blog or website to promote

7:44 | Amazon products you’ll need to have at

7:46 | least 10 original posts on that webpage

7:48 | if you’re using a social media account

7:49 | you’ll need to have at least 500 organic

7:52 | followers with good engagement and I

7:54 | will say these requirements are honestly

7:57 | incredibly low and it still gives you a

8:00 | chance to get started really early on

8:02 | without having to lose anything at all

8:04 | so from there when you’re approved

8:06 | you’ll see a header bar with a button to

8:08 | get an affiliate tracking link to the

8:10 | product you’re looking at you can get

8:11 | affiliate links for basically anything

8:13 | on the platform that ranges in

8:15 | commissions from one to even 20 now once

8:18 | someone clicks on your link they’ll get

8:19 | affiliate cookie that lasts for 48 whole

8:22 | hours that means if someone else buys

8:24 | anything from that link within the 48

8:26 | hour times fan you will still get

8:28 | Commission on the sale that being said

8:29 | if they add the product to their cart

8:31 | within that 48 hours that cookie will

8:33 | then last for up to 90 days which is a

8:35 | lot longer than the standard 30-day

8:38 | window so Amazon in my opinion is

8:40 | probably one of the best starting point

8:42 | points for people who want to get into

8:43 | affiliate marketing but beyond that it’s

8:46 | a bit limited this is because While most

8:48 | products will earn you anywhere from one

8:50 | to five percent in commission to even

8:52 | the 20 Max that we discussed oftentimes

8:55 | the products on Amazon are anywhere from

8:58 | 20 to even fifty dollars at most

9:00 | occasionally you might be in a really

9:02 | good Niche where you know you have a

9:04 | camera review Channel and you’re

9:05 | reviewing higher ticket products and in

9:07 | that case you’d be set but even on that

9:10 | some cameras will only give you up to

9:12 | three percent commission and at the end

9:14 | of the day you would still have to be

9:15 | moving a lot of volume in order for you

9:18 | to make a sustainable amount of money

9:20 | other than the potential for you to be

9:22 | able to make a ton of money through

9:23 | Amazon Associates being a little bit

9:25 | more on the Lower Side Amazon still has

9:28 | a very good payout threshold which is at

9:31 | just ten dollars so even if you only get

9:33 | like 20 to 50 bucks if that money is a

9:36 | lot to you maybe you live outside of the

9:37 | US and the currency actually goes a

9:40 | longer away or say you’re not even like

9:42 | a college students say you’re like an

9:43 | elementary schooler or whatever I’m sure

9:46 | 20 bucks is still a lot of money to you

9:48 | also by the way if you are in elementary

9:50 | school what are you doing how how did

9:52 | you get your parents permission to see

9:55 | this video anyways you’re on to it

9:56 | you’re doing a good job little one now

9:58 | another upside to Amazon’s affiliate

10:00 | program is that they’re truly unmatched

10:01 | and having the most amount of different

10:03 | products all across the world from

10:06 | Amazon’s own products to Independent

10:07 | Sellers and even in between that there

10:10 | are multiple millions of products on

10:13 | their platform and available worldwide

10:15 | on top of that Amazon also has a pretty

10:17 | solid affiliate dashboard it gives you a

10:19 | lot of information all laid out so you

10:21 | can keep track of what products are

10:23 | converting the best I think my best

10:24 | advice especially with how many products

10:26 | are available on Amazon is to First find

10:28 | something your audience will actually

10:30 | use and enjoy then you make sure that

10:33 | you’re able to pick the product and see

10:34 | if it gives you a decent commission

10:36 | where you’re not just collecting pennies

10:38 | then from there you want to think about

10:39 | scale so use that initial concept up see

10:43 | the success from that and look into

10:44 | either higher value items or products or

10:47 | try to scale that in a different way

10:49 | where you hit even more people with a

10:52 | certain product as someone who’s used

10:53 | Amazon Associates for like six to seven

10:56 | years now I would definitely would

10:58 | recommend as probably one of the best

10:59 | starting points but there are still four

11:01 | more networks that I consider to be one

11:03 | of the best going into number four share

11:06 | a sale now the accessibility I would say

11:07 | it’s a four out of five ease of use

11:09 | three out of five and then potential

11:11 | earning a bit more than Amazon at three

11:13 | out of five too share sale is actually

11:15 | one of the bigger affiliate networks

11:16 | where they have a total of over 4 500

11:19 | different affiliate Partners on their

11:22 | site now this platform is pretty simple

11:23 | to get started with so just go to share

11:25 | a sale website in the top right click

11:27 | sign up then affiliate sign up and then

11:30 | after creating your account you’ll need

11:31 | to fill in some details about your

11:33 | website links the language the content

11:35 | and more now in order for you to get

11:37 | approved you’re gonna need to be active

11:39 | in whatever website you’re sharing with

11:43 | type of organic traffic on that platform

11:49 | they’re going to send their money over

11:51 | to and you should hear back within two

11:53 | to three days if you’re approved now the

12:14 | there’s a lot of these companies that

12:15 | are exclusively on their site that won’t

12:18 | be found anywhere else and getting

12:20 | registered is still pretty simple now

12:22 | with that being said this platform does

12:23 | also come with a couple of their own

12:25 | downsides too so number one the platform

12:28 | itself is a lot harder to use than any

12:30 | of the other ones that I’ve used in the

12:32 | past number two the data that you get is

12:34 | pretty minimal I’ve seen some of these

12:36 | other affiliate networks that go really

12:38 | in depth but with this website they like

12:41 | to keep it simple but third one is that

12:43 | the minimum payout threshold is fifty

12:45 | dollars and if you are a smaller little

12:48 | shrimp within the space trying to get a

12:50 | payout quite frequently you might think

12:52 | that a 50 minimum payout is kind of

12:54 | unreasonable so with all that being said

12:56 | here’s what I recommend before you go

12:58 | all into any of these networks you

13:01 | should make sure to spend time focusing

13:02 | on growing your blog or your social

13:04 | media platform first so you have people

13:07 | that you’re going to be able to drive

13:08 | these links to keep in mind that by

13:10 | building up your following on the blog
