• 1:33 | stick to a niche that you know is going
• 1:35 | to be appealing to women I would look at
• 1:37 | things like Fashion Beauty home decor or
• 1:40 | Fitness and another category that
• 1:42 | actually tends to perform really well on
• 1:44 | Pinterest is jewelry and I’m pretty sure
• 1:46 | that it’s because this Niche tends to
• 1:47 | feature very beautiful and aesthetic
• 1:49 | images which is perfect for a platform
• 1:51 | like Pinterest and now one brand that
• 1:54 | I’ve been particularly obsessed with
• 1:55 | lately is anal Louisa which is a jeweler
• 1:58 | brand known for its high quality and

• 2:04 | relationship with jewelry I know this

• 4:03 | that I found a little bit frustrating as
• 4:04 | I was signing up for all these programs
• 4:07 | is that a lot of times even when you
• 4:08 | would join those large affiliate
• 4:10 | networks you would still have to
• 4:11 | individually apply for every single
• 4:13 | brand that you were trying to promote
• 4:15 | which was quite time consuming and
• 4:16 | honestly some networks would even let
• 4:17 | you apply for those Brands until you’ve
• 4:19 | hit a certain threshold a really cool
• 4:21 | affiliate marketing Network that I in a
• 4:23 | DP finding was mavely which allows you
• 4:26 | to automatically become Affiliates of
• 4:28 | all of those programs just by Jo joining
• 4:30 | mely from my research mely is definitely
• 4:32 | not the largest affiliate Network out
• 4:34 | there but they do have a lot of exciting
• 4:36 | Brands anything from a fashion to
• 4:38 | Fitness to travel and even software and
• 4:41 | So eventually I decided to focus on
• 4:43 | Brands and products from mavely and
• 4:45 | Amazon Associates step number three
• 4:47 | create a Pinterest business account and
• 4:49 | this step is actually going to be really
• 4:50 | important because that will give you
• 4:52 | access to the analytics dashboard that
• 4:54 | is going to help you understand which
• 4:56 | pins are performing the best and will
• 4:57 | give you an idea of the traffic that
• 4:58 | you’re getting so now let me share a
• 5:00 | pretty important tip with you that is
• 5:02 | going to help you to avoid the mistake
• 5:03 | that I made at the very beginning when
• 5:05 | you’re converting your Pinterest account
• 5:07 | there are going to be a lot of different
• 5:09 | business types that you will get to pick
• 5:10 | from anything like agency blogger
• 5:12 | consumer goods creator influencer online
• 5:15 | retail and Marketplace so make sure that
• 5:17 | you’re not picking the online retail or
• 5:20 | Marketplace because to me when I was
• 5:21 | picking the business type I thought it

• 5:43 | really good at picking that up so pretty
• 5:45 | much what happened is that I’m pretty
• 5:46 | sure I created like 50 pins in one day
• 5:49 | and my account got deactivated and I
• 5:52 | lost all the work that I did that day
• 5:54 | and so if I were you I would pick the
• 5:55 | Creator influencer or a public figure
• 5:57 | category because those accounts seem
• 5:59 | seem to be pretty flexible step number
• 6:01 | four start creating your pins with
• 6:03 | Pinterest I noticed that the pins that
• 6:05 | perform the best are the combination of
• 6:07 | something that is very visually
• 6:09 | aesthetic and something highly
• 6:10 | searchable so you can create different
• 6:12 | pins using software like canva for
• 6:14 | example if you’re trying to drive
• 6:15 | traffic to different blogs or articles
• 6:18 | but the way that I decided to go about
• 6:20 | it is that I would go directly to the
• 6:21 | Brand’s website and I would screenshot
• 6:23 | different pins make sure that they high
• 6:25 | quality and match the overall aesthetic
• 6:27 | and I started pinning them on my PIN
• 6:29 | interest board again make sure they
• 6:30 | you’re including the affiliate links in
• 6:32 | the actual pin and it’s also really
• 6:34 | important to optimize your pin out all
• 6:36 | the relevant keywords and hashtags in
• 6:39 | different categories to make sure that
• 6:40 | your PIN is actually discoverable based
• 6:42 | on my research most of the affiliate
• 6:44 | marketers recommend creating different
• 6:46 | boards and themes so for example I have
• 6:48 | boards for living room furniture
• 6:49 | inspiration bedroom kitchen and other
• 6:52 | boards and apparently that’s supposed to
• 6:54 | help users discover more Vi pins
• 6:56 | depending on what they’re looking for
• 6:58 | and then last but not least I mean this
• 7:00 | applies to everything but this is
• 7:01 | definitely something that I noticed a
• 7:03 | lot of Pinterest affiliate marketers
• 7:05 | have mentioned is that you do need to
• 7:07 | stay consistent and ideally you want to
• 7:09 | create two to three pins every single
• 7:11 | day obviously nobody has time for that
• 7:13 | Ain nobody got time for that but
• 7:14 | something that I really appreciate about
• 7:16 | Pinterest especially when you switch to
• 7:17 | business account is that you do have an
• 7:19 | option to schedule all of your pins
• 7:21 | ahead of time so pretty much I started
• 7:22 | spending about one day out of the month
• 7:24 | just creating a bunch of pins and
• 7:26 | scheduling them out so I wouldn’t have
• 7:28 | to worry about it which is something
• 7:29 | that will save you a lot of time and
• 7:31 | mental energy and so after almost 3
• 7:35 | months of posting on Pinterest and
• 7:37 | schedule life my content I made a
• 7:40 | whopping 30 so it was quite less than
• 7:44 | what I was expecting definitely nothing
• 7:46 | like the results that I’ve saw all over
• 7:48 | YouTube which I feel like I would be way
• 7:50 | more disappointed if I haven’t had this
• 7:53 | much experience trying different side
• 7:55 | hustles so just like with most other
• 7:56 | things Pinterest marketing is a side
• 7:58 | hustle that is going to take some time
• 8:00 | to start bringing in traffic and as you
• 8:02 | guys know I love creating these videos
• 8:03 | to show you realistic results because
• 8:05 | there are just so many YouTubers out
• 8:07 | there that always create videos making
• 8:09 | it feel like you’re just going to become
• 8:11 | rich overnight but trust me the results
• 8:12 | you usually see those like you know four
• 8:14 | or five figure results from Pinterest
• 8:17 | that’s not something that they started
• 8:18 | making right away and it definitely
• 8:19 | takes a lot of trial and error in
• 8:21 | learning to understand what type of
• 8:23 | content is going to bring in the most
• 8:25 | return on investment so if you brand new
• 8:27 | to Pinterest like I am don’t get
• 8:29 | discouraged if you’re not seeing results
• 8:30 | right away you know it took me probably
• 8:32 | at least 3 months before I saw any
• 8:34 | commission at all and it’s obviously
• 8:36 | super duper tiny commission that I
• 8:38 | wasn’t even sure if it’s worth
• 8:39 | mentioning but I did want to make this
• 8:41 | video to help encourage all of you and

• 8:45 | takes time to grow so if you’re curious
