0:23 | down some notes as we go through this.

0:24 | It’s going to be a bit of a longer

0:26 | video, but I can promise you that if you

0:29 | really focus on what I’m saying here,

0:32 | then you can take some really good

0:33 | pointers out of it and hopefully end up

0:35 | making some money with affiliate

0:36 | marketing. Um, like I said, I’ve been

0:38 | doing this for about a decade now and

0:40 | we’ve made really good money from

0:41 | affiliate marketing. And so, I want to

0:42 | help you to save some of the stress or

0:45 | mistakes that I’ve made in the past with

0:47 | it. And one more note here before we get

0:49 | deeper into the video is that I don’t

0:51 | have a course to sell you here. So, you

0:53 | don’t have to worry about this being

0:54 | like one big sales pitch to you. Uh, the

0:56 | truth is is that you can learn all of

0:58 | this information for free on the

1:00 | internet with videos like this. So, if

1:07 | right, so let’s start off with the first

1:08 | thing, which is understanding the basic

1:10 | concepts of affiliate marketing. So,

1:12 | affiliate marketing, uh, people

1:14 | complicate it. They make it seem a lot

1:16 | more confusing than it really is. The

1:17 | basics of this, and I’ll throw up a

1:19 | little graphic here for you to look at,

1:20 | but the basics of it is that you are

1:22 | just marketing products for someone

1:25 | else’s business. And in return, when you

1:27 | get sales, when someone buys something

1:29 | after you market it, you get a

1:31 | commission. You get a percentage of the

1:33 | revenue that you sent to that other

1:36 | business. And so, um, the truth is is

1:38 | that most companies in the world have

1:40 | affiliate programs. So Nike or REI or

1:44 | Canon the camera company, most companies

1:47 | have some form of affiliate program. And

1:50 | so your goal as an affiliate marketer is

1:52 | you’re going to post things whether on

1:54 | social media or on your website or on

1:56 | YouTube or on Tik Tok or on any other

1:57 | platform. You’re going to talk about it.

1:59 | You’re going to get attention to it and

2:01 | convince people to click on a specific

2:03 | link that you’ll be getting from

2:05 | businesses. And I’ll show you how to do

2:06 | that later in the video. you get people

2:07 | to click on your specific link and when

2:09 | they purchase something through your

2:11 | link, you are going to get a commission

2:13 | or a percentage of that sales revenue.

2:16 | So, um there’s a lot of really great

2:17 | things about this and the reason why I

2:19 | think affiliate marketing is probably

2:22 | the best business that you could start

2:24 | going into 2026 is for a couple of

2:26 | reasons. One being that there’s really

2:28 | no cost upfront to get this started. You

2:31 | don’t need to sink a lot of money into

2:32 | it. The truth is you can do it for zero

2:34 | dollars and so there’s really no harm in

2:37 | trying it and getting started with it.

2:39 | So that’s why I think it’s the best

2:40 | business, but also you can do it from

2:41 | anywhere in the world as long as you

2:42 | have internet um and you’re able to post

2:45 | whether this is blog posts or social

2:46 | media or other avenues. And I’ll show

2:48 | you more on that as well. And the third

2:50 | reason why affiliate marketing I think

2:52 | is one of the best opportunities is

2:53 | because you don’t have to actually deal

2:55 | with the customers as an affiliate

2:57 | marketer. So, for example, um if I’m

3:00 | talking about CocaCola and I’m an

3:02 | affiliate marketer for Coca-Cola, if you

3:05 | click on my Coca-Cola link and you buy

3:07 | this Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola has to send it

3:09 | out. I don’t have to do that as the

3:11 | marketer. I’m just getting them the

3:12 | initial customers, getting them onto

3:14 | Coca-Cola’s website, and then from

3:16 | there, they have to ship out the

3:18 | product, they do the customer service,

3:20 | uh they deal with all of that. Um, and

3:22 | so those are the reasons why I think

3:23 | affiliate marketing really is one of the

3:25 | best opportunities for people to get

3:28 | started with. Okay, so this is an

3:29 | important section here and that’s going

3:30 | to be setting expectations.

3:32 | Realistically, how much money can you

3:34 | expect to make from an affiliate

3:36 | marketing business? And the truth is is

3:38 | that it varies widely, but I can tell

3:40 | you what the ceiling or what the limit

3:42 | is because I’ve met some people who have

3:44 | quite literally made tens of millions of

3:46 | dollars per year by doing affiliate

3:49 | marketing. Um, and I would say like the

3:50 | biggest players in this would be

3:52 | somebody like Dave Ramsey. That

3:54 | company’s making hundreds of millions of

3:56 | dollars per year. And a lot of the

3:58 | revenue comes from affiliate revenues

4:00 | from driving customers to other

4:02 | businesses. On top of that, there’s a

4:04 | blog called The Penny Hoarder that was

4:05 | making $50 million per year mostly from

4:09 | affiliate commissions. And so I I’ve

4:11 | been in this space for a really long

4:12 | time. I’ve been fortunate to have met

4:14 | people who have made many millions of

4:16 | dollars from this. So, the ceiling is

4:18 | very high and the sky’s is kind of the

4:19 | limit on it. Now, realistically, if

4:22 | we’re going to be honest, um I think

4:24 | most people who are going to get started

4:25 | with affiliate marketing might start off

4:28 | by making $50 or $100 per month, maybe

4:30 | getting a couple of conversions, a

4:32 | couple of sales per month. But if you

4:33 | stick with it, I can tell you from my

4:35 | personal experience, I had a YouTube

4:37 | channel where I would talk about

4:38 | personal finance, and I did quite a bit

4:40 | of promotions for investing apps and

4:42 | things like that. Um, and I got up to

4:44 | tens of thousands of dollars per month

4:46 | by doing this strategy from my YouTube

4:48 | channel, but also from the blogs that

4:50 | I’ve owned over the past 10 years as

4:52 | well. Have made some pretty good money

4:53 | from it. So, uh, it took time to get to

4:55 | that. It, you know, definitely it’s not

4:57 | going to get you rich overnight, and not

4:59 | everyone’s going to succeed at it, but I

5:01 | think if you stick with it and you, uh,

5:02 | try at it, uh, at some point you can get

5:05 | to $100 a month and then $1,000 a month

5:08 | and then potentially $10,000 a month.

5:10 | obviously can’t make promises, but there

5:13 | is a lot of potential there. So, just

5:14 | wanted to set that for expectations. I

5:16 | would set a goal of getting to a few

5:18 | hundred dollars per month by, you know,

5:20 | within the next uh 3 or 4 months of

5:22 | starting up an affiliate marketing

5:23 | business. Okay, so we have a lot to talk

5:26 | about. We’re going to talk about how to

5:27 | choose a niche or a category. Um what

5:29 | type of product are you going to

5:30 | promote? We’ll talk about how to find

5:32 | affiliate programs for those products.

5:34 | Then we will talk about how to uh build

5:36 | out a website and then also how to

5:39 | promote your affiliate link on social

5:41 | media because it’s going to be a

5:42 | multi-pronged approach that we use that

5:44 | I find to be the most effective for

5:46 | making money with affiliate marketing.

5:48 | Okay, so let’s start off with choosing a

5:50 | niche. And I I I get this question so

5:52 | often from people is what type of

5:54 | product, what category should I pick? Do

5:56 | I need to have a specific niche? Like

5:58 | what do I even start promoting? And so

6:00 | let’s try to answer this question here

6:01 | for you. So, I’ll be honest. I’ve

6:02 | promoted products in a lot of different

6:04 | categories over the years. And so, my

6:07 | answer to to the best niche would be

6:09 | that I would really suggest picking a

6:12 | category that you either have knowledge

6:14 | on already or that you have some passion

6:17 | on. And the reason for this is because,

6:19 | you know, if I was going to start an

6:20 | affiliate marketing brand where, you

6:23 | know, I’m promoting uh makeup for women,

6:25 | I don’t know anything about that. Not

6:27 | only do I not know anything about it, I

6:29 | don’t care either. And so it’s going to

6:31 | be really hard for me to wake up in the

6:32 | morning and make content about women’s

6:35 | skin care because that’s just not

6:37 | something that I really know or care

6:39 | about. So I would suggest picking

6:40 | something that maybe you like. And this

6:42 | can really be almost any category even

6:44 | if you feel like it’s too small. So this

6:46 | could be like if you’re really into

6:48 | fishing and you like fishing, you can

6:49 | make a full affiliate marketing brand

6:52 | around fishing or boating or food

6:54 | reviews. Now, there are some higher

6:56 | revenue things that you can do and I’ll

6:58 | share some of those with you right here.

7:00 | Um, one of them would be supplements.

7:01 | So, supplements, a lot of people are

7:03 | taking different types of uh nutritional

7:06 | uh supplements, whether this is like

7:07 | protein shakes or vitamins. And so, I’ve

7:10 | seen people make really good money with

7:11 | this and that’s because the cost of the

7:13 | product is a lot higher. So, a lot of

7:15 | supplements might cost $50 or $80 for

7:18 | one can of supplements and so you can

7:20 | get a nice affiliate commission from

7:22 | promoting those. So, that’s one that I

7:24 | think has a lot of potential, but

7:25 | there’s other ones as well, like even a

7:26 | home and garden or pets. Personal

7:28 | finance was the one that I did really

7:30 | well with on my personal YouTube channel

7:32 | where I would talk about the stock

7:33 | market and bonds and investing. And then

7:36 | I would get people to sign up for

7:38 | brokerage accounts because they wanted

7:39 | to start investing. So, um that was the

7:41 | one that I did. Um but you can really

7:43 | choose any category. So, for the purpose

7:45 | of this video, um I’m going to actually

7:48 | make an example and I’m going to choose

7:49 | the niche of supplements and nutrition.

7:52 | And so I’m going to focus on building a

7:54 | brand all around that. Now, um, people

7:57 | also ask, you know, can you have

7:58 | multiple niches at the same time,

7:59 | posting on the same platform? I would

8:01 | suggest picking one category, starting

8:03 | with that, and you can always branch out

8:05 | from there. All right. So, I’m going to

8:06 | go with nutrition and supplements. And

8:08 | so, now I’m going to build a brand. So,

8:10 | I’m going to come up with a logo. I’m

8:12 | going to then build a website for it

8:13 | because this is the website’s going to

8:14 | be the place where you’re going to have

8:16 | as the center that things can funnel

8:18 | back to the website. People want to read

8:20 | more about it. they want to learn more

8:22 | about products, they can go back to your

8:23 | website. I think having a site is very

8:25 | essential for any affiliate marketer. We

8:27 | do a lot of revenue through our sites.

8:30 | And then we’re going to look at building

8:31 | our social media platforms as well,

8:33 | right? So on Instagram or Tik Tok or

8:35 | Pinterest or YouTube, we have a lot of

8:37 | different avenues that we can promote

8:39 | products on. And I will do a full

8:41 | tutorial later in this video showing you

8:43 | specifically how I would go about

8:44 | promoting products. Um, but right now

8:46 | we’re going to focus on building the

8:47 | brand. This is very important. So, don’t

8:49 | totally overthink it, but you are going

8:51 | to need to come up with a name. You

8:53 | know, this could be very simple. It

8:54 | could just be your personal name or it

8:56 | could be a brand around the products

8:58 | that you’re looking to promote. So, for

8:59 | supplements, I’m going to come up with a

9:00 | name and then I’m going to go out and

9:01 | build my website. And there’s a few

9:02 | reasons for building this site. So, not

9:04 | only is it going to make your brand look

9:06 | a lot more professional when you have a

9:08 | custom domain, when you’re reaching out

9:10 | to brands and you have a custom email

9:12 | domain, but it’s also going to help you

9:14 | to get into different affiliate programs

9:16 | because some companies are going to be a

9:18 | little bit more difficult to get into

9:19 | and convinced to let you promote their

9:22 | products. Other ones are a lot easier,

9:23 | but sometimes I’ve found that it helps

9:25 | create a sense of professionalism. And

9:27 | then also when people are maybe watching

9:30 | a video, a YouTube video that you made

9:32 | about a product, you can link to your

9:34 | website and you can have a full article

9:36 | on that product. Um, and also ranking in

9:38 | Google search is still very very

9:40 | underappreciated and I’ll go more into

9:42 | that on the specifics of why later in

9:44 | this video when we talk about how to

9:46 | promote products, but websites are very

9:48 | important to have as an affiliate

9:49 | marketer. We do a lot of revenue through

9:51 | our sites and so we use Hostinger.

9:53 | Hostinger is the company that we just we

9:55 | build all of our sites on because it is

9:56 | by far the cheapest. Right now it’s $249

9:59 | a month and you get a free domain for I

10:01 | believe a year. Um and it’s also very

10:03 | quick. So I’ll leave a link to it down

10:04 | below in the description or you can just

10:06 | go to hostinger.com/santrell.

10:10 | and build a site on the platform. I’ve

10:12 | built sites on probably a dozen other

10:13 | platforms. Um and this is I would say

10:15 | just the best in terms of price and you

10:17 | get a pretty good product as well. So,

10:19 | we can go with the premium, the business

10:20 | AI, or the cloud startup AI plan. Now, I

10:23 | have to say that the reason why it’s

10:25 | probably the best website builder is

10:27 | because you can make up to 50 websites

10:29 | from this at $3.29 a month. So, you can

10:32 | have dozens of different affiliate

10:34 | brands, dozen of different affiliate

10:35 | websites. Um, there’s a whole strategy

10:37 | that you can use with this. So, it’s

10:38 | it’s a pretty great option there. So,

10:40 | I’m going to go with the business plus

10:41 | AI plan just because I want it to build

10:43 | out a website using AI for me. But you

10:45 | can also just go with the premium plan

10:47 | as well if you want to uh really have a

10:49 | good price on that. So I’m going to

10:50 | choose this plan here. And then you have

10:52 | the option of choosing a a 12-month plan

10:54 | which is going to come out to $449 which

10:56 | is about $50 for the entire year up to a

10:59 | 48month plan which would be a 4-year

11:01 | plan for $329 per month. So I’ll let you

11:04 | decide which one that you think is best.

11:05 | I would definitely recommend at least

11:06 | getting the 12 months so you can get the

11:08 | free domain for a year. And then also we

11:55 | show you the basics of it so that you

11:57 | can do this yourself as well. So, let me

12:03 | just deciding where our audience is

12:05 | located. So, you know, most of my

12:06 | audience is going to be in the United

12:08 | States. They have data centers all over

12:09 | the world. So, I’m going to just roll

12:11 | with that. United States. Looks good.

12:12 | And now it’s going to start getting the

12:14 | basics set up to build out our website.

12:16 | So, um, it’s going to install WordPress

12:18 | and then it’s going to start setting

12:19 | some things up. It’s going to ask us

12:20 | some questions and then it’s going to

12:21 | build the website for us. So, now what

12:23 | I’m going to do is plug in some

12:24 | information about my brand and the

12:26 | description of my website that I’m

12:29 | looking to build. So, brand name is

12:31 | supplements guide. The website type is a

12:34 | blog. And then let’s make a description

12:36 | of this as well. So, I definitely

12:38 | suggest filling this out as much as you

12:40 | can. I gave it, you know, about a little

12:42 | over a paragraph, but the specifics on

12:44 | like what you do, what type of products

12:46 | you are reviewing or writing about, um,

12:49 | and who the audience, the target

12:50 | audience is, that’s all going to help

12:52 | the AI to make a better website for you.

12:54 | And so once we have all that filled out

12:56 | there, we can just click on create. And

12:58 | now Hostinger is going to build out our

13:00 | website for us. Um, it’s going to give

13:02 | us a first draft and then we can just

13:03 | tell it to change things and modify it

13:05 | uh, with really the click of a button.

13:07 | It’s gotten a lot easier. You know, I

13:08 | used to build websites back in the day

13:09 | with WordPress, and it would be like

13:12 | worse than pulling teeth. I mean, it

13:13 | would just uh be terrible. So, this is a

13:15 | lot easier, and yeah, I love 2025. Okay,

13:18 | so here’s the first website that the AI

13:20 | made for us for supplements guide. Now,

13:22 | I actually do kind of like it. I don’t

13:24 | like the header here, but I like that

13:26 | there’s a homepage, a blog page, a

13:28 | reviews page, and the bottom part of it

13:30 | actually pretty good as well. And so,

13:31 | what I can do is I can just either say

13:33 | create again, I just wanted to make a

13:35 | whole new version of it, or I can edit

13:36 | the site. So, I’m going to edit the site

13:38 | right now. And so, this is, you know,

13:40 | pretty straightforward. We can just drag

13:41 | and drop things. We want to change out

13:43 | this photo. We want to put in a new

13:45 | photo there. We can do that very easily.

13:47 | And we can change up the, you know, text

13:49 | here as well very easily. And so, we

13:52 | have full tutorials showing you exactly

13:54 | how to modify websites and make them

13:56 | look really beautiful. That’s not what

13:58 | the purpose of this video is here, so

13:59 | I’ll just keep it very short. But

14:01 | essentially, you can just go ahead and

14:02 | publish that website. Then you can get

14:04 | your domain up and running live. And now

14:06 | you will have your website set up. So

14:08 | that’s the basics of getting your site

14:09 | set up. Now once you do that, then you

14:12 | can go in and you can start applying to

14:14 | affiliate programs. So um let’s say that

14:17 | we want to find some supplement

14:18 | companies that are uh looking for

14:20 | affiliates to promote their products.

14:22 | And so the best way to do this is to

14:24 | just go on Google search um and either

14:26 | think of supplements that you’re already

14:28 | taking that you want to promote or just,

14:30 | you know, try to find ones that pay the

14:32 | highest commissions. So, what I did is I

14:34 | just did a quick Google search on best

14:35 | supplement affiliate programs. I’m going

14:37 | to go through here, see if I find

14:39 | anything interesting, and there we go.

14:40 | Bulk supplements. We can join their

14:42 | affiliate program, and they pay a 15%

14:46 | base commission on all sales that we

14:48 | send to them. Now, I have used Bulk

14:52 | Supplements. I think it’s a great

14:53 | company. They have very, very lowcost

14:55 | supplements. And so, I can start

14:57 | promoting this company. So, what I’m

14:58 | going to do is I’m going to go and apply

15:00 | to this affiliate program right here.

15:02 | I’m going to have to answer some

15:03 | questions. Luckily, I have my website

15:05 | set up so I can uh you know link to it

15:07 | when I’m applying to their affiliate

15:08 | program. So, in this case, we would be a

15:10 | publisher and I can sign up and I can

15:12 | apply to that affiliate program. So, uh

15:15 | I’m going to join that and I’m going to

15:16 | fill out all my details. They’re going

15:18 | to ask if you’re a business or a person

15:19 | just for tax reasons and stuff. And so,

15:21 | if you have an LLC set up, you can plug

15:23 | that information in. If you don’t, you

15:25 | can still run this with your personal

15:27 | information when you are applying to the

15:29 | specific affiliate programs. They just

15:30 | want to know who they’re paying and so

15:32 | they can tell the IRS like you know

15:34 | those types of things. So we can apply

15:35 | to those affiliate programs and get into

15:37 | them to start promoting products. Okay.

15:40 | So once we join an affiliate program,

15:42 | we’re then going to get a specific link.

15:45 | So from like Bulk Supplements once they

15:47 | approve us into their affiliate program,

15:48 | they’re going to give us a specific link

15:50 | for all their different products that

15:52 | they have. Um and then we can go out and

15:53 | start promoting that. So, the first

15:55 | thing I would recommend doing is going

15:57 | back to your trusty old website and

15:59 | writing out at least half a dozen

16:02 | articles just so you can fill out your

16:03 | site. Now, you know, I used to write

16:05 | these myself. Truth is, we have AI now

16:08 | that really is good at creating

16:10 | articles. And so, you can spin up a

16:12 | dozen articles for your website just to

16:14 | make it look more professional and more

16:16 | clean on reviews of different products

16:19 | and different supplements just to kind

16:20 | of get the ball rolling. I do still

16:22 | think that there’s like the human touch

16:24 | is better, but you can kind of mix it in

16:26 | there and help, you know, get some help

16:27 | and assistance with words using chat GPT

16:30 | or some of the other AI platforms to

16:32 | write out some blog articles. So, that’s

16:33 | going to be the first thing we’re going

16:34 | to do is we’re going to uh fill out the

16:36 | website. Now, once you do that, then you

16:38 | can start thinking about other platforms

16:40 | to start promoting your product on. I’ve

16:42 | spent a lot of time on all the platforms

16:44 | and I’m going to tell you specifically

16:46 | what I think can work the best as

16:48 | affiliate marketer to get people to

16:50 | click on your link and then purchase

16:51 | things through your link. All right. So,

16:53 | we have all these different platforms,

16:55 | right? We have Instagram, Tik Tok,

16:57 | Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit, Facebook,

17:00 | uh YouTube, Google. What do you do? Like

17:04 | what do you start with for getting

17:05 | people to, you know, to get attention

17:08 | and then to get clicks on your affiliate

17:10 | links? So the first line that I would do

17:12 | is definitely setting up your blog. But

17:14 | after that, you can start venturing out

17:16 | onto some other platforms. Now the ones

17:18 | that I think have the best potential

17:19 | would be Pinterest and probably I would

17:22 | say YouTube. And the reason for that is

17:24 | because there’s more search potential on

17:26 | those platforms as compared to something

17:28 | like Instagram. Now we still have done

17:30 | some affiliate marketing on Instagram,

17:32 | but one of the reasons why I don’t like

17:34 | it as much is because let’s say that you

17:36 | make some videos about supplements on

17:38 | Instagram. Now, you might get a lot of

17:40 | views. You could get a million views on

17:42 | an Instagram reel. But the problem is

17:44 | that it’s going to be hard to actually

17:45 | convert people from watching your video

17:47 | to then clicking on your profile, then

17:50 | clicking on the link in your bio, then

17:52 | clicking on another link to get to your

17:54 | affiliate link, and then buying the

17:56 | product. You see how there’s a lot of

17:57 | steps involved there? We want to

17:59 | minimize those steps if we want to make

18:01 | more money with affiliate marketing. So,

18:03 | while Instagram can be great for sending

18:05 | people to like your blog or just raising

18:07 | more brand awareness about your brand as

18:09 | a whole, I think something like Google

18:11 | search is still going to be one of the

18:13 | best avenues for affiliate marketing or

18:16 | any other platform that has a lot of

18:18 | search volume. So, even Tik Tok has

18:19 | really good search volume now. People

18:21 | are looking for things and also YouTube

18:23 | has good search volume. And the reason

18:24 | for this is because if someone is

18:26 | searching something very specific, like

18:28 | if I go onto my computer here and I look

18:30 | up very specific supplements, you know,

18:33 | chance of ranking for those, but also

18:36 | the people who are looking that up are

18:38 | probably very much interested in that

18:41 | specifically. Maybe they’re looking to

18:42 | buy something. They’re what we call high

18:44 | intent potential customers as compared

18:47 | to someone who’s scrolling through

18:52 | specific. So, uh, that’s something to

18:54 | keep in mind if you’re thinking about,

18:55 | you know, how to promote products. Now,

19:00 | Pinterest. I think that is another

19:02 | really great opportunity. But regardless

19:04 | what you do, I would suggest going out

19:06 | onto different platforms and testing

19:08 | content. So, you can put out content on

19:10 | all these platforms, see which one

19:12 | starts to stick, see which one starts to

19:13 | gain some traction, and once that does,

19:15 | you can really lean into it and really

19:17 | push out a lot of content on that

19:18 | specific platform. All right. So, let me

19:20 | share something with you that I think a

19:21 | lot of people don’t understand is that

19:22 | you really want to be thinking about the

19:25 | quality of the views or clicks that

19:28 | you’re getting. And so, for example, on

19:30 | a blog, right? Let’s look something up

19:32 | here like best supplements for college

19:34 | athletes. Now, uh if we look at some of

19:36 | these different blogs, let’s say that we

19:38 | look at this one here, medical news

19:40 | today, right? Six effective vitamins and

19:42 | supplements. Right? Now, this let’s say

19:44 | that this this blog article gets 500

19:47 | page views per month. Does that sound

19:49 | like a lot? Probably not. To most

19:50 | people, that doesn’t sound like a lot.

19:52 | And that’s because social media, you

19:54 | know, people are getting millions of

19:55 | views. You could have an Instagram video

19:56 | that gets 10 million views compared to a

19:58 | blog article that might get 500 views.

20:00 | And so, people tend to go towards the

20:02 | social media side. But the truth is is

20:04 | that you can make so much more money

20:06 | from fewer views on something like a

20:09 | blog. And the reason for that is for two

20:11 | reasons. One, because people are

20:12 | searching for it, very specific things.

20:14 | They’re looking for something specific.

20:16 | it’s usually on their computer, so it’s

20:17 | easier to check out and purchase things,

20:19 | but also because the links are embedded

20:23 | inside of articles. So, you know, on

20:26 | Instagram, like you watch a real, then

20:28 | you have to click on the profile, then

20:29 | you have to click in the bio on the

20:30 | link, and then you have to click on

20:31 | another link, and then you check out.

20:33 | There’s a lot of steps involved, right?

20:35 | But with this, let’s say I’m reading

20:37 | through here, I’m learning about the

20:38 | different vitamins and supplements that

20:40 | I should be taking. And if at any time I

20:43 | click on any of these links like right

20:45 | here or you know if I read through the

20:47 | article and you know I’m like you know

20:49 | what I do need some iron supplements and

20:50 | I click on this link here today it takes

20:52 | me over to Amazon and now they just got

20:55 | a potential commission if I now go and

20:57 | buy anything on Amazon and it was so

20:59 | easy to click on that link because it

21:01 | was just embedded right there in the

21:03 | text and then you can put buttons

21:05 | inside. Right? So like these are all

21:07 | affiliate links and I can buy this right

21:09 | here. I can click shop now and I can buy

21:11 | that and this website is going to get

21:14 | money for sending me over to this

21:16 | company called Ritual for their

21:17 | supplements. So, it’s something that I

21:18 | really think is important trying to rank

21:20 | on Google search. Uh we have videos

21:22 | showing you more specifics on how to do

21:24 | that. So, I do recommend watching those

21:25 | videos. I’m also going to make an

21:27 | updated SEO video as well for you. But

21:30 | that’s something I think is really

21:31 | important to understand. Now, at the end

21:32 | of the day, I still do recommend doing a

21:34 | multi-pronged approach where you have a

21:36 | website, you’re trying to rank in Google

21:37 | for consistent search results where

21:40 | maybe you’re getting a few hundred or a

21:41 | few thousand page hits per month. Very,

21:43 | very good. That creates some stability

21:45 | on your business on your affiliate

21:47 | business where you have some nice slow

21:49 | and steady growth. And then on the other

21:51 | side, you have the social media where

21:53 | you can try blasting things out onto

21:54 | these different platforms and seeing if

21:56 | you can get anything to stick and build

21:57 | a brand around that with short form

21:59 | content. Okay. So, a multi-pronged

22:01 | approach there is probably the best

22:02 | strategy that you can use. I do think

22:04 | you should be doing all these platforms

22:06 | at the same time if you have the time to

22:08 | do it. So, there’s one more thing that I

22:09 | want to share with you and that is some

22:11 | places that you can start uh looking at

22:14 | affiliate programs. Now, I just made a

22:15 | video about the best affiliate programs,

22:17 | the 12 best ones. I’ll leave a link to

22:19 | that video down below if you’re just

22:20 | looking for ideas. But, Amazon

22:22 | Associates, which is Amazon’s affiliate

22:24 | program, is one of the best ones. And

22:26 | that’s because any product that gets

22:28 | purchased through Amazon, you can get a

22:30 | commission for that when you sign up for

22:32 | Amazon’s affiliate program. Um, so

22:35 | that’s one of the best ones, but also

22:36 | like Target or Best Buy, Etsy, eBay,

22:39 | they all have affiliate programs. So the

22:42 | amount of products you can promote are

22:44 | truly endless. Um, and another pointer

22:46 | here is that if you see a company that

22:49 | doesn’t seem to have an affiliate

22:50 | program, like on their website, just

22:52 | send them a message, send them a DM on

22:54 | Instagram or uh send them an email and

22:56 | say, “Do you guys have an affiliate

22:57 | program?” And if you don’t, could you

22:59 | make one for me? And you’d be surprised.

23:00 | I’ve done this before and I’ve had

23:02 | companies make affiliate programs for me

23:04 | u because I wanted to promote their

23:05 | products. So, you can really promote

23:07 | anything out there. So, yeah, we have
