• 0:12 | YouTube stuff. You see them talking
• 0:14 | about on Tik Tok and not all of it is
• 0:17 | true. Now, I’ve been doing this for over
• 0:19 | 5 years. So, I’m just ex I’m just
• 0:21 | telling you from my experience. Do I
• 0:24 | know what I’m talking about? I’ve won
• 0:26 | several. I have one award here. I have
• 0:28 | an award
• 0:31 | there. I’ve won several contests. I’ve
• 0:33 | been on leaderboards. So, I do know a
• 0:35 | thing or two about what I’m talking
• 0:37 | about. And I just want to be able to
• 0:39 | help you the way that I never got the
• 0:42 | help in the beginning because when I
• 0:44 | first started all of this, I was lost.
• 0:47 | Like lost. And people’s like, “Why do
• 0:49 | you tell people that it took you a year
• 0:51 | to make a dollar?” Because it’s true. I
• 0:53 | didn’t know what the heck I was doing.
• 0:55 | So, I want to help you not do the
• 0:58 | mistakes that I’ve made and how to keep
• 1:01 | an eye out for what’s really true and
• 1:02 | what’s not true. By the way, in case you

• 1:24 | video. Okay, one of the first things I
• 1:25 | want to talk about is how people say you
• 1:28 | have to promote high ticket affiliate
• 1:30 | marketing to be able to get anywhere.
• 1:32 | Okay, now of course you probably are
• 1:34 | like Shelley, you know, that’s why I’m
• 1:35 | starting here. They’re probably pointing
• 1:36 | your finger. You do this all the time.
• 1:37 | Well, yeah. One of my favorite things is
• 1:39 | high ticket affiliate marketing because,
• 1:41 | you know, one of the the first things
• 1:43 | that I came to was a course because, you
• 1:46 | know, after a year of trying to learn
• 1:48 | what I could on YouTube, I was like,
• 1:50 | “Okay, I need to buy a course.” And then
• 1:53 | once I got into the course and I started
• 1:55 | learning stuff, I’m like, “Oh my gosh,
• 1:57 | dude. For real. I I need to promote this
• 1:59 | because for one, promoting high ticket
• 2:01 | stuff, you make more money, but two, you
• 2:04 | help people with the bigger time, too.”
• 2:05 | Because a course is usually expensive.
• 2:08 | And with a course though, you’re going
• 2:09 | to be able to help people a whole lot
• 2:11 | more than some little $1.99 ebook.
• 2:14 | However, okay, you are going to be able
• 2:18 | to sell something a lot easier that’s
• 2:20 | cheaper than more expensive. That’s just
• 2:22 | common sense for two. It takes just as
• 2:25 | much effort to promote a high ticket as
• 2:28 | it is a low ticket. Okay. Now, there’s
• 2:29 | truth to that because you would do have
• 2:31 | to work. You know, you’re putting let’s
• 2:33 | just say videos cuz I usually put videos
• 2:34 | out and you’re doing the exact same work
• 2:37 | and you’re going to make the most money.
• 2:38 | Okay. I promoted one like like a 6K
• 2:41 | thing and and I I made a lot of money
• 2:44 | from it. I did really good and I
• 2:45 | believed in it. I only promote stuff
• 2:46 | that I believe in and I I did really
• 2:49 | good really fast. like the the first
• 2:50 | five weeks I made I don’t know 15k but
• 2:54 | there was tons of leads tons of leads
• 2:57 | that I had that were you know hopefully
• 3:01 | I got them on the back end which people
• 3:02 | said the back end that’s your email list
• 3:04 | but you know I lost a lot of sales
• 3:05 | because you know they couldn’t afford it
• 3:08 | so if that had been a cheaper thing that
• 3:10 | you know I was recently promoting
• 3:12 | something that was like a hundred bucks
• 3:14 | and I did really good I got a lot of
• 3:16 | sales on that but it was only $100 so
• 3:19 | yeah it makes more sense. You’re going
• 3:20 | to make more money with something that’s
• 3:22 | cheaper. Now, what what I suggest that
• 3:24 | you do is combine a high ticket and with
• 3:27 | a lower ticket. In this same category,
• 3:30 | you hear all the time, you can’t sell a
• 3:33 | $7 lead magnet that goes into high
• 3:36 | ticket. That’s monarchy. Yeah. There
• 3:39 | it’s a good thing. And so, you pay the
• 3:41 | $7 and then you can have the chance to
• 3:42 | go into something higher. Well, that’s
• 3:45 | something good that you want to promote.
• 3:47 | And two, yeah, it’s okay to promote
• 3:50 | something that’s $7. You know, you’re
• 3:52 | going to get a bunch of the leads and
• 3:54 | then if they buy on the back end, great.
• 3:55 | If not, then that’s okay. You know, they
• 3:58 | bought in. So, the good thing about
• 4:00 | something like that to me, they’re
• 4:02 | willing to invest something. You’re
• 4:05 | willing to you’re willing to take that
• 4:06 | first step. Now, when you’re first
• 4:08 | starting out, I actually suggest that
• 4:10 | you promote something that’s reoccurring
• 4:13 | because you go into high ticket and you
• 4:15 | don’t know what you’re doing. Say you
• 4:17 | get a bunch of sales and then boom,
• 4:20 | they’re gone. And so doing something
• 4:22 | software or something I just I do
• 4:24 | software that’s reoccurring or you know
• 4:26 | there’s been a bunch of like boxes that
• 4:28 | come for your pet or whatever something
• 4:30 | that’s more reoccurring then you’re
• 4:31 | going to have that money coming and the
• 4:33 | more and more that you have that money
• 4:34 | coming in that’s going to make a whole
• 4:36 | lot more sense to you. Don’t think you
• 4:38 | have to stay in the make money online
• 4:40 | niche either. Now this is just there.
• 4:42 | Look at this guy. This is a YouTube
• 4:44 | channel and I follow it because I really
• 4:47 | like doing the resin and I I actually
• 4:50 | have bought this stuff cuz you know they
• 4:53 | sell the products and make money off of
• 4:55 | the products that they sell. Well, I
• 4:57 | bought into it cuz I’m like I’m going to
• 4:59 | completely redo my whole kitchen
• 5:00 | counters and everything. Then I heck
• 5:02 | then I could turn around and be an
• 5:03 | affiliate and be like look this is what
• 5:05 | I did. Or maybe not. But not only are
• 5:10 | they selling physical stuff, but I mean
• 5:12 | even their YouTube channel is making a
• 5:14 | killing and they’re just showing what to
• 5:15 | do and how to use the stuff. So I mean I
• 5:18 | always use the example of goat cages.
• 5:20 | There’s a goat cages guy that sells a
• 5:24 | course on how to build goat cages. Okay,
• 5:27 | if he can be successful, I mean, okay,
• 5:29 | really anybody can. Okay, now here’s
• 5:31 | one. And I’ve been guilty of this one,
• 5:33 | too. The lazy way. Broken lazy. You see
• 5:36 | people on Tik Tok and YouTube all the
• 5:39 | time talking about this, which it’s it’s
• 5:41 | a hook. I mean, it is it’s a hook and it
• 5:44 | draws people in, but there ain’t nothing
• 5:46 | lazy about affiliate marketing. Oh my
• 5:49 | gosh. Okay, in the beginning, I mean,
• 5:52 | it’s work. I tell all of my students,
• 5:54 | okay, if you’re going to get in here,
• 5:55 | you got work. I mean, come on. Now,
• 5:57 | here’s an example. I told a friend of
• 5:59 | mine about affiliate marketing. He’s
• 6:00 | like, uh, uhuh, that I can’t I can’t do
• 6:02 | that. And so I told him about this
• 6:05 | curbside thing I had learned about. I
• 6:07 | think I did a Tik Tok about it was
• 6:08 | talking about, you know, how you can
• 6:10 | make money because and I and I learned
• 6:12 | about it because literally the guy came
• 6:13 | to my house and did mine and was like,
• 6:17 | “Hey Shelly, I I can make it look like
• 6:19 | this.” And you know, did the school
• 6:21 | colors and everything like really? Yeah,
• 6:22 | paint that, do that. And I paid the guy
• 6:24 | money. Now, I told my friend, you know,
• 6:26 | you really want money, you could go out,
• 6:28 | you it wouldn’t cost you that much to
• 6:30 | buy the stuff and you could go to
• 6:32 | neighborhoods like mine and everything.
• 6:33 | I mean, you could make I don’t know, say
• 6:35 | you could probably make $1,000 in a day.
• 6:37 | Now, could you make $1,000 in a day in
• 6:39 | affiliate marketing? Not by boom,
• 6:42 | starting off that day, the end of the
• 6:43 | day, make no it’s it’s not that easy.
• 6:45 | You have to do a lot of upfront work and
• 6:47 | then you reap the benefits on the end.
• 6:49 | That’s how affiliate marketing works.
• 6:50 | But again, there ain’t nothing lazy to
• 6:52 | it at all. That’s the honest to goodness
• 6:54 | trick. Okay, here’s another one. You
• 6:55 | have to make money on ClickBank to
• 6:58 | succeed in affiliate marketing. Okay,
• 6:59 | now that’s just a load of crap. Now,
• 7:01 | I’ve been guilty about making YouTube
• 7:04 | videos and stuff on ClickBank because
• 7:06 | they do get views. And half of the time
• 7:09 | at the end of the video, we’re like,
• 7:10 | “Okay, this is a way to do it, but this
• 7:13 | is what we promote.” Because I’m not
• 7:15 | going to lie to you, the majority of
• 7:17 | gurus, they’re promoting independent
• 7:20 | affiliate marketing program. This is
• 7:22 | what I do. And a lot of times I’ll start
• 7:24 | off videos just talking about affiliate
• 7:26 | marketing and I’ll need a product. And a
• 7:28 | lot of people like ClickBank because you
• 7:30 | can go there and you can get products
• 7:31 | for free. So I’ll be like, “Okay, this
• 7:34 | is what you do. You need to go here and
• 7:36 | here’s the product.” So I’ve been guilty
• 7:38 | about it, too. But no, you know, there’s
• 7:40 | been tons of people that’s been
• 7:41 | successful. No, I haven’t. I mean, I
• 7:44 | teach you how to use it, but whenever
• 7:46 | I’ve done really good is I’ve been done
• 7:49 | the these single programs that I’m
• 7:51 | telling you about like or courses or
• 7:53 | something like that. That’s what I’ve
• 7:54 | done, you know, really really good on
• 7:56 | and kind of, you know, right now I’ll
• 7:58 | have like the first link in the bio and
• 8:00 | that’s what I promote because it’s
• 8:02 | really good and it’s successful and it’s
• 8:04 | helped me and it’s helped thousands of
• 8:05 | thousands of other people because no
• 8:07 | matter what you want to do, you need to
• 8:09 | learn how to market. There’s a friend of
• 8:11 | mine, he does heart health and you know
• 8:13 | he got into this thing called Legendary
• 8:16 | Marketer and they he paid like 6K to
• 8:20 | they you could go to their resort and
• 8:22 | learn and their bigger program which I
• 8:24 | was like oh that’s so cool because I did
• 8:26 | do I did do that one but he learned how
• 8:28 | to market even though he’s wasn’t an
• 8:31 | affiliate marketer so he was in heart
• 8:33 | health and you know for example I’m
• 8:35 | sitting here and my hair is sticking
• 8:36 | straight up because I went through a
• 8:39 | very stressful full-time. And about
• 8:42 | three months ago, two to three months
• 8:44 | ago, I started losing my hair. I mean,
• 8:47 | this is crazy. And you know, now it’s
• 8:49 | all growing back. So, it’s all sticking
• 8:51 | up straight. Um, if if there’s anybody
• 8:54 | that wants to know what I did, it’s not
• 8:57 | what I wrote. If you want to know what I
• 8:59 | did, let me know and I’ll reach back out
• 9:01 | to you. But that’s an example, okay?
• 9:03 | There’s people and women that are in the
• 9:06 | whole hair area. And I learned this
• 9:08 | because while I was losing my hair, you
• 9:10 | know, was coming out in the shower like
• 9:12 | buying gods, um, I had a stress attack.
• 9:15 | Long story short, that would be a great
• 9:17 | niche because I ended up buying like a
• 9:20 | course. There was a course you could buy
• 9:21 | to learn about your hair and stuff like
• 9:23 | that. So, I took this course and now I
• 9:26 | know stuff. I’m like, I could turn
• 9:27 | around. I could have I could have a
• 9:29 | whole another niche, which I’m not going
• 9:31 | to do. But that’s just one example.
• 9:33 | Okay. Yeah, I got off track. Welcome to
• 9:35 | Shelly Land. But, you know, I was
• 9:37 | talking about courses and stuff because
• 9:38 | that’s one of the main things that I
• 9:39 | promote. But, we could go back to the
• 9:41 | software that I use that I use every
• 9:43 | single day that I I I now promote and
• 9:46 | you can make monthly reoccurring
• 9:48 | commissions, which if you’re new, I
• 9:50 | would do that. I would start on the
• 9:52 | monthly reoccurring commissions. You
• 9:54 | know, I actually promote probably every
• 9:56 | autoresponder that you can think of
• 9:58 | because everybody has to have an
• 9:59 | autoresponder. And then anybody that
• 10:02 | gets on my autoresponders, I’m like,
• 10:04 | “Okay, well, I have 500 business emails
• 10:06 | that you could just change to you.” Then
• 10:08 | I give that to them. So you could do you
• 10:10 | could do something similar that’s just
• 10:12 | like that. That’s what I advise you to
• 10:13 | do. Another one is now anybody can do
• 10:16 | it. I mean, because really if you have a
• 10:18 | laptop and a computer and Wi-Fi, excuse
• 10:22 | me, a phone, preferably a computer and
• 10:25 | Wi-Fi, there you go. I mean, you can
• 10:27 | just use a phone, but be way easier as
• 10:28 | long as you have a computer, too. So
• 10:30 | really anybody can do it. But for one,
• 10:34 | okay, some of these programs won’t let
• 10:36 | people like for example from Africa,
• 10:39 | okay, and I’ve done research cuz I want
• 10:40 | to do a video on affiliate marketing um
• 10:43 | and around Africa and stuff like that,
• 10:44 | but some countries won’t allow some of
• 10:47 | these affiliate marketing businesses.
• 10:49 | The other thing is is if you don’t like
• 10:51 | to help people, affiliate marketing is
• 10:53 | not for you. That’s really all it is.
• 10:55 | You’re helping someone figure out if
• 10:57 | they want to learn this, if they want to
• 10:59 | get into this course, if they want to
• 11:01 | learn this software. If you want to help
• 11:03 | someone figure out if they should buy
• 11:06 | this, like example with the YouTube
• 11:08 | channel on how to do resin on your
• 11:10 | table. Well, you know what? You’d have
• 11:12 | to help somebody. You’d have to show
• 11:14 | them, hey, this is what you do. So, if
• 11:15 | you’re not helping people, then, you
• 11:17 | know, it’s maybe not for you. Affiliate
• 11:19 | marketing is not for everybody. You
• 11:21 | know, it’s just like my friend, he was
• 11:22 | like, “Yeah, no, I’d rather do something
• 11:26 | physically with my hands.” And I’m like,
• 11:27 | “Oh, okay.” And some people just don’t
• 11:30 | realize about the work part that you do
• 11:33 | have to put in the work, especially in
• 11:34 | the beginning. But if not, it’s not for
• 11:36 | you. You can go out to Fiverr. If you’re
• 11:39 | really good at doing something, you can
• 11:40 | put yourself out there and and and
• 11:42 | become a freelancer of the honestly,
• 11:45 | affiliate marketing is not that hard.
• 11:47 | You just need to be able to willing to
• 11:49 | make content. this is content and write
• 11:52 | emails that you know cuz you have to
• 11:54 | have a funnel builder which I used to
• 11:56 | say you have to be able to do funnels
• 11:58 | but this day and age I mean we give you
• 12:00 | the funnels you that’s easy but the
• 12:03 | emails you know after you get the free
• 12:05 | emails then you got to be able to write
• 12:06 | your own but besides that totally it
• 12:09 | okay the one I’m going to tell you after
• 12:10 | this one is actually better but this one
• 12:13 | bothers me the most you don’t need a
• 12:14 | website to make a full-time income with
• 12:16 | affiliate marketing okay did you know
• 12:18 | that a funnel is a website it You have
• 12:20 | affiliate marketing the right way. You
• 12:22 | have to have a funnel because you want
• 12:23 | to get the email address. That’s the
• 12:25 | most important thing. So, you have to
• 12:26 | have a website. A website is a funnel.
• 12:30 | Really? Okay. And this one, you don’t
• 12:32 | need an email list to make a full-time
• 12:34 | income. Really, you don’t need an email
• 12:35 | list. Oh my gosh. That’s because a lot
• 12:37 | of people teach affiliate marketing.
• 12:39 | Let’s go out to ClickBank. We’re going
• 12:40 | to grab this link. Go put this link out
• 12:42 | there. Now, you can do that if you have
• 12:44 | like a whole bunch of stuff and you
• 12:46 | know, you want to keep it all out there.
• 12:48 | That’s perfectly fine. And for a
• 12:50 | beginner, yes. So they can make, you
• 12:52 | know, once you’ve make that first
• 12:53 | dollar, then you’re golden to get them
• 12:55 | the first dollar, but then they need to
• 12:57 | learn the right way. And it’s you have
• 12:59 | on your funnel. The very first thing you
• 13:01 | do is you’re going to bring in an email
• 13:02 | list. Whether it has a 14-day trial, a
• 13:04 | free whatever, you need to ask for the
• 13:07 | email address. Yeah. You got to build an
• 13:09 | email list or you don’t have a business.
• 13:13 | Okay. Can you believe that? I mean,
• 13:14 | right now, if I wanted to make some
• 13:15 | money, all I got to do is pull up my
• 13:18 | autoresponder, write an email, send it
• 13:20 | out to my list, and then I’m going to
• 13:22 | make some money. Yeah, you got to have
• 13:23 | an email list. Okay. Now, hopefully this
• 13:26 | helped you, and I want to help you even
